Honest question. How is this character remotely ok? High mobility, high damage, high survivability, there’s legitimately no drawbacks to picking her.
Any squishy that is not being pocketed has no chance of surviving and to top it all off she can just DM for 25 years and fly away if she’s caught and that’s not even talking about the hp-armor split health pool.
How do you defeat this monstrosity of a game character (especially if your tank doesn’t go Zarya)?
Go symetra… they will switch in a nanosecond.

Dm has tons of counters compared to things like Zarya bubble and shields.

How hard is it really to pressure her for all of three seconds?
Low range in which her damage is high, large critbox so if her only defensive resource is depleted she’s much easier to kill, huge model size. Vulnerability to beam weapons. Those are all drawbacks.
One could argue her thrusters need an increase in cooldown so bad positioning is punished more, but otherwise she doesn’t seem like a big deal. Zarya is far worse. There’s never a good time to shoot at her, it seems. I’ve played her a few times when getting tank on flex queue and even someone who barely plays her like me can easily gain charge.
You stick with your team and focus fire her faster than they can heal her
3 seconds is a long time, my guy. Especially in Overwatch.

Rein can hold his shield for a lot longer than three seconds can’t he. I don’t hear people begging he has to drop it eventually
Same way as anything is balanced in this game, spinning dartboard with random numbers changes on it.
Can Rein jump in on the backline, kill a squishy within a nano second, eat everything thrown at him and then STILL get away.
The whole point of his shield is that he can’t do anything else while deploying it, that’s his drawback.
All D.Va has is defense matrix and her hardest counter, Zarya, is head and shoulders better than her at the moment. If you’re having a hard time against D.Va, swap to Zarya and basically invalidate her and watch her team struggle to rally around her while she loses her meka.
Dva’s not anywhere near as strong as people are making her out to be.
Good news for complainers that don’t know when to stop is that she’s getting a small nerf soon.

Zarya is busted too, don’t get me wrong. But D.va’s time to kill and mobility at any stage is just mind-boggling to me. Zarya has high damage too, but atleast if she makes a mistake, she can’t just DM and fly away like nothing happened.
You don’t, shes as busted as zarya. It takes a ton of effort to take down dva. My only issue with dva right now is her insane burst damage. Hog can deal a one shot but at least he’s not zooming all over the map or denying any damage with a matrix.

I haven’t seen this though. Literally like 20 “nerf Moira” threads a day and I haven’t seen any for Dva. Maybe it’s more of a reddit thing than on these boards? I wouldn’t know.
If you honestly think she works like this play her for a while. Don’t just say you did, go do it. You will very quickly be educated by the enemy in her shortcomings. Not going to say she isn’t strong, but also she isn’t as strong as you seem to believe her to be. She was absolute dog-poop the first two betas, really hoping they don’t bring her back to that level.
