How is doomfist balanced?

Like the hero can legit one shot someone in front of your whole team and etc, I’ve seen him from plat to master and everytime the hero just one shots my healer without anyone being able to react.

High risk, high reward

People in master are saying it’s not that hard to get out of a fight as doomfist, dude can legit ult from spawn and one shot my support since most don’t have too much mobility (dashes or blinks) on top of the every ability he hits, he gets shields so even as hanzo it’s impossible to 2 shot him if he hits 1 on him 3 aoe abilities.

Show what you can do on him.

I have played him actually just to see if I’d feed or not, I didn’t do god tier, but I won the game and got crucial picks for my team. Pretty sure doomfist is not balanced in the slightest

Literally hes perfectly balanced dont moan cause you dont know how to counter him

If there was a hero that basically self destructed and took an enemy with them it would be the definition of balance, but would it be good for the game?

You can either have a great Doomfist or a bad Doomfist player. No in betweens. Also

He has a large hitbox, telegraphed damage, predictable movement, and is extremely susceptible to knockback and stuns.

Play Sombra, Orisa, Bastion, Roadhog, McCree, and Pharah to counter him.

That’s essentially what Doomfist does. He is king of trades; taking out a support usually means the rest of the team deletes him.

And that very much IS the case for most Doomfists when you look at the stats. He’s got the worst Kill-Death ratio of any Overwatch hero who isn’t a healer. For every kill he gets, he dies for it.

He’s balanced like this.

He is hard to play. People complain because they can’t results. So they buff him. Now good doomfists are unstoppable and mediocre doomfists get some kills.

McCree is not a counter, either. Only bad doomfists say that. If you hit McCree with any of your 3 abilities, you can combo him completely. He can flash you, but you should have been seismic slamming him from above, out of flash range. Land any hit of any combo on anyone, and you will have enough shields to survive anything McCree can do. He can’t roll in the air, either, so if you hit him with an uppercut, he is also dead.

He’s 1 shotting the Zen (or Ana) right?

Tell your Zen to switch to Lucio or Moira to go along with your Mercy. All of them should be able to survive a Doomfist since they all have escape abilities (Lucio can also boop the DF away).

You have made this same thread before, you can only push for nerfs so far but this is ridiculous.

To be able to do so requires situational awareness and strategy. Doomfist is a high skill, high reward hero, and his burst damage is allows him exactly that.

exactly I knew this thread looked familiar he’s trying to spam to get what he wants.

He’s not perfectly balanced, trust me on that. he has a one shot ult that legit can’t be countered by support ults ASIDE FROM LUCIO ULT, unless you count res as a counter. Doom fist takes a good amount of skill I’d say that, but holding right click and letting go is the same as scatter and I’m willing to say the hero I main had some broken abilities.

Zen’s ult is pretty good too.

You’re not building a very good case for him being OP.
That sounds quite reasonable.

His ult has a 7 meter radius. Overwatch characters move at 5.5 meters/sec. It takes a second to come down. WALK OUT OF IT

he’s balanced in the way of “he dies so its ok”.

he’s predictable and any burst dps that gets lifted up by him will usually kill him.

imo, he’s a terrible character that needs a rework to the point of needing a new playstyle.
