How Doomfist Tank Might Work

Thing is, punch is a single target ability and the point kinda of falls flat if the team is playing spread enough to the point that you cant hit multiple people with slam or uppercut. The cooldown reduciton is neat… but once he uses them all he still would need to wait 2 full seconds for the first one to reset with no other mean to put pressure unlike most other tanks

Also keep in minf that OW2 seems to be like TDM with an extra player, chances of people playing that close together should be lower than on OW1

If teams are spread he can pick them off, if they’re grouped he becomes way tankier

Doom still has teammates, having 2 seconds of downtime is less than he has on live

Or the teams can play spread enough to where they can still support each other while not giving doom mora than 1 set of shields

That part has to go. It serves no team-purpose outside of body-blocking, it’s just a worse-designed Hog-Breather.

Just give it 50 damage, Stuns if the hit-player hits a wall and slow them for 50% for a few seconds. 50% damage reduction while channelling.

I think it’d be better to change this to, instead, have him place a smaller Winston-Bubble (500HP, 8Sec duration, 3m radius) that Cleanses allies inside, where he lands. Speed-up the travel-time a tad, too.

I’d just reduce it’s damage to 40, cooldown to 4 seconds and remove the recovery-time, but add a passive that gives a boop to all quick-melees against airborne enemies.

Meteor Strike just needs to go. It’s massively unhealthy and provides a get-out-of-jail-free card. It’s pointlessly punishing to the enemy team. I’d like to see his ult charge his next Seismic Slam to place a larger bubble that pulls enemies in (like a larger, .250ms Graviton) that traps enemies inside (1200HP, 12Sec duration, 7m radius).

For comparison; Winston’s Bubble is 700HP, 5m radius, 9sec duration.
