I’m asking non gm or masters uber tier I can one clip god tracers but like average plat to diamond how she’s feeling lately honestly while I do just suck I also feel like she gets punished so much more lately like if you don’t one clip melee combo and get the kill you’re as good as dead. Again I do just suck but damn does she feel hard to be effective with.

Much of her value isn’t necessarily in getting kills. Its just being annoying and distracting people. If you get people that won’t respect you or try to ignore you, generally you get free dmg in.

best mobility in the game + self heal & is better at doing what reapers supposed to do . Easy character with high skill ceiling & that ceiling being basically not wasting recall when u could’ve blinked to a nearby health pack
Her damage is perfect, if they touch it just even a little bit then she’ll be straight up hell again .

Feels the same to me, even after nerf. Tracer’s job is not killing everyone, it’s just harass and make that Ana not focus her resources on her tank, but on herself and not healing anyone. I usually get two of supports on me… This also creates space.
Im in diamond and have been using her for the last 2 season before this because sometimes i cant force genji but this season i dont like how she feels i feel like i have to lick the person to do consistent damage
And cassady can go die in a hole hes so annoying he just nade body shot and you die its just not fun playing against him as tracer

i’m around high plat to low diamond on DPS last i remember, and i have a lot of hours on tracer, despite not really considering her my main these days. my opinion for a while is that in the evolving complexity of the game and hero designs, tracer remains a strong pick, but i feel you can easily get more value out of several other heroes in almost any situation
i still have games where i do really well on her, and it helps a lot to know the essentials and to master her movement - speaking from personal experience, a lot of tracer mains in low to mid ranks blame their aim on bad performances, and while that is a factor it’s much more often that aim is self-sabotaged by poor movement and underdeveloped game sense
and also, as others have pointed out, high level tracer players and montages give the impression that tracer is meant to dominate every match and get countless elims and carry. that’s possible, of course, and it’s great to secure kills, but you can get a lot of value out of being annoying in the backline and forcing the enemy tank to peel. in my opinion that’s a better mindset to approach the character from in terms of actually improving, whereas something like aim, getting used to blink distance, and game sense come from practice…competitive practice, too, not QP. turn off your chat if you feel uncomfortable!
TL;DR she’s good, viable, and you should keep playing her if you want to play her. but be prepared to die a lot until you really get the hang of it, and don’t be afraid to swap for a match or two if you’re getting burnt out

For top players she is better than genji. For your average player genji is easier to get value out of. Especially his ult compared to hers.

Before this patch i would disagree but tracer got hit so hard this season that she is now worse genji after his ammo buff

She’s the strongest DPS in the game but also the hardest. Master her and you’ll do better than any other DPS. Be mid tier with her and you’ll never win.

Don’t pay attention to him, he literally has a negative winrate on her and tried to brag to me about it 
Tracer’s still the strongest. Everyone thinks she’s been hit hard, but the spread nerfs did nothing and you can Blink through nade.

Still feels lovely to be a pesky mosquito, cleanup merchant and punisher of tunnel vision players who get out of position.
The Cassidy nade is nasty though, as it negates your recall, so you have to be less aggressive when he has it off CD.
As ever, position set up and engagement timing is still your bread and butter, assuming you have your aim mechanics down reasonably well, though you do have to go a touch closer in now with the recent changes

Maybe for top 500 but im diamond and still learning her so that also why i would put genji above her after his buff her nerf and that nade god i hate that nade and sure blink though it and it tracks you down because its stupid
