I don’t really get what their motive is, or why they even exist?
I get it’s like a Pacific Rim type deal with them getting stronger and coming from the water every time and whatnot, but how do they fit into the story of Overwatch? Are they just wanting to destroy Korea because they’re in a silly goofy mood or something

I think they’re a (at the moment) smaller omnic extremist group, like a sorta smaller Null Sector, who has yet to extend beyond Korea.
If Null Sector is to team with them and give them resources, that’s one heck of an army…
My understanding is that they’re a series of omnics developed in an Omnium that’s somewhere in the East China Sea.
They’re essentially the generic/standard hostile omnic force of the Eastern Asian Pacific coastal/sea region like the omnics in Siberia are to Russia.
They look cooler than the normal Omnics and are exclusive to Korea. That’s basically it. But they don’t really need a unique motive.
