The in-game description isn’t exactly straight-forward.
It seems to suggest that her primary fire is just stronger. Is that all there is to it? If so, that’s a really bad lazy ult design.

you get free secondary fires railgun
As in, your right-click charge is always full?
it regens the bar for it very fast
Well it’s not ALWAYS full, but it automatically charges to full within like 1 second
Gotcha.
Seems kinda weak, really… for an Ult that is.
Well the shots from the Railgun during the ultimate also go through Barriers and enemies too so you can hit multiple enemies with 1 shot
It’s funny, because in MH, I’d get her and be like
“Oh, her ult… let’s find out what it does”
Then I’d run head-first into the enemy team as I pop it expecting something big and I just get murdered. lol
After a few times doing that, I was like, I really gotta figure out what that’s supposed to be doing. lol
Get to spam the rail gun shot without having to charge it, and it also overpenetrate targets when the super is active.
You run headfirst into the enemy team with an ult you have no idea of how it works (and therefore probably have very little skill with the entire character) and then decide its a “weak ult” because you die?
I start to understand why Blizzard should NEVER listen to balancing ideas from these forums.
Her ult is really strong if you can aim, you can devastate a whole team with it easily.
Is your reading comprehension that bad?
That isn’t AT ALL what I said.
Go back and read that again, holy effing crap.
“Is your reading comprehension that bad?”
The OP who couldn’t read what the ult did properly. - 2022.
I didn’t understand what the ult description was saying, because I didn’t know until now that she even had a right-click secondary. Now I know.
But I said that the ult seems weak, not because I derped into the enemy a few times, but because getting an auto-charge on a secondary fire just sounds weak for an ult.
You have to have really bad comprehension to get “I died while not knowing what it did, so it’s weak” from that.
My guy don’t worry about it. People just being rude to new or returning players who haven’t been following the OW2 changes like they have.
But yeah her ultimate is strong because her rail gun is strong. It’s a one shot on headshot against squishy heroes so regening it every second means you can go on a tear during the duration if you’ve got the aim to back it up.
It basically gives her aoe widow shots every 1 second for like 8 seconds that don’t interfere with her automatic fire. I genuinely think its very well implemented even though it’s simple.
Training room is a good place to test out and practice new characters before going into matches, it’s a non-match area to see how different abilities work, whether there’s damage drop off on attacks, etc., just generally get a feel for how a character works and what their flow is before actually using them. But more advanced stuff like character/environment specific techniques or character matchups (e.g. does Kiriko’s ult speed up McCrees Deadeye ult) you’d be better off learning from content creators on YouTube.
I was wondering how I got a triple headshot the other day…
Again you show that you have absolutely no knowledge about what you are talking. It’s not weak if you have a player piercing instant kill on headshot on everyone but the tank (and even the tanks can’t withstand much more than one or two headshots).
It’s not weak at all. Get aim and you’ll see how easy it is to decimate an entire team with it.
I’m sure you’re right. I never meant to argue it. It was just a “That doesn’t SEEM like it would be that good” statement. I’m sure I’ll see its value the next few times I get her.
Don’t mind the agro people. You need to keep your sentences concise if you don’t want them failing to read half of it and then ranting about it.
My advice is to fight that voice in the back of your mind that is screaming at you to get MAXIMUM VALUE every time you use it. Take your time to line up your shots. You can spam out 6 or so or you can carefully place 2 or 3. Just one kill is usually enough to swing a team fight.
Also, don’t ignore your positioning. It’s easy to feel like you should be able to just run out into the open and murder everyone, but remember that you’re still a squishy.
