Hi im currently gm5 with 85 games played and sms verification but i do not see myself on the top 500 list while i see players who are diamond 2 show up. is there an issue with my account or is it a blizzard bug. do i have to play one game now that t500 is out. any answers are greatful

Wondering the same thing. Currently Masters 1 on support in NA but not top 500 while master 4 and 3 players a top 500. Looking even further at leaderboards its weird to see GM players ranked lower then masters players.
You just need to play more games. Pretty sure the game still thinks your rank is still “unstable.” I’m GM4 with almost 70 games played but I’m not on there either probably because I ended mid-masters last season. I think once you play enough, the game will place you. I think Apply, who’s GM1 with like 100+ games still hasn’t placed in top 500 yet. Just be patient I guess.
Having the same issue hit gm5 and see diamonds in top500 for tank on console. Also wondering if maybe it’s not populating because since launch my stats have been blank saying 0 games played but on the Challenges tab it’s been properly tracking my wins.
You’re not alone either. I previously held the T500 title not too long ago back in Overwatch 1. I’m currently Grandmasters 4 Support without the title with over 100 games yet I see Masters 5 players with 20 games with T500. It’s a highly inaccurate depiction of who is deserving of Top 500.

there are also top500 players with six games played on consoles, which doesn’t make any sense
I think their entire ranked system is just beyond broken atm.
completely, from matchmaking to leaderboard 
but it’s very strange that we haven’t heard half a word about it from blizz, or am I wrong?
