Is it still worth getting into gigantic?
How does the gameplay compare against Overwatch or marvel rivals?

It should be telling that I’ve never heard of it.
Well it’s the free game next week from epic games so I’m thinking I’ll finally give it a try heh…
It was a nice idea to revive it, but they were upfront with the fact it will be barely supported post-launch (afaik all they’ve added was a Competitive mode? and QoL changes maybe?)
As a result, Steamcharts reports that there are 6 people online on Steam and 30 for the 24 hour peak. Other platform numbers may vary (though I doubt by a high amount) so, good luck.
very dead on revival vs dead
it is down to 20 ppl playing it.
I have it on xbox it doesn’t.
Honestly, you’ll just have to give it a go and see what you think.
IMHO, it’s ok. I tried it when it first came out, and it wasn’t really my thing. Tried it again pre-re-release, and it didn’t hook me. I like the idea of it, but the experience just didn’t grab me.
Btw, it told everyone that this is how it was going to end.
nobody took me seriously which makes this thing even more hilarious.
It’s this week’s free game on epic games might be worth a try?

Last and final chance to get this free on PC if anyone hasn’t…
No thanks
Dead game.
The decision to make it paid game just killed any chances that it may have had for revival, and with deadlock around the corner, its chances went to negative value.
Hero shooter genre seeing a big resurgence…
The more competition the better…
Resurgence and competition are pushing it a little.
Concord failed.
Deadlock hasn’t managed big numbers.
Marvel Rivals, might do numbers. But long term doubtful.
Although, none are really hero shooters. More mobas. MR is probably the only one that could theoretically be a “hero shooter” if you’re a little liberal with it
Concord was a failure of management understanding the market and not pulling the plug before things got bad. Sony also has a rich history of seeing a bad idea and buying into it. Some games just don’t stand a chance and this is one of them.
Well deadlock is still invite only. I tried it but it is very much not for me. But a lot of people love mobas so the market is there.
Rivals was also limited in testing but I quite enjoyed it. I’m eager to play it again. I’ll be a dr strange main because portals. Rivals is the only thing in my view as a direct competitor to overwatch, both gameplay concepts and mechanics. People are oddly loyal to blizzard products, like in the same way people are loyal to apple. Can’t know how many will leave OW2 or what it would take to get them to leave, but before MR there wasn’t a place to go, and soon there might be - no one knows how it will look.
Can’t wait for Paladins 2 personally…
There probably won’t be a paladins 2 if smite 2 fails. The price tag alone I think will make the game a failure.
That looks quite cool.
Good job nobody cares about your opinion, Nightwing.
