I’m honestly so confused by this??? So if i get it righ, you only get comp points from 1 rank that is your highest…
So i was plat 5 a while on dps and i was able to climb to plat 5 like 2 days or so before the comp season ended yesterday…But when the comp season ended i only got points for gold…
Like the final rank card that shows up on your screen at the end of the season showed my 3 ranks being all gold when my dps and support was plat 5??
Can someone explain why this happened because i don’t get it??
Yes, you get the comp points for your highrest rank you ENDED with. If you play 5 games and get Plat 4 for example and then go 3-8, you will not get a rank update, but your rank will be lower. They also adjusted the SR inflation that was going on in the game.
So its either the case that you lost to many games before it could update your rank or that the inflation put you to high and they adjusted it.
Not sure if they fixed this, but basically, even though your rank only updates every 5 wins, your actual rank is being adjusted every match, so you may have been plat 5, played one more game, lost and been adjusted to gold 1, even though you need to get 5 wins to receive the update.
Really?? I wish there could be a better way of showing your actual rank because it’s so confusing! why can’t it just be like before where you just get points for what you actually ended up being…

So now you can see your percentage towards the next update somehow or something?

This honestly doesnt make any sense to me. I endend as d4. My last comp match was 2 weeks ago then i stopped to play comp untill the season end. In my last match i got promoted from d5 to d4.
But it shows me that i was plat 3… tbh i dont get it.
Even if my SR wasnt right, how can i drop so much…? Currently im d4 again… so what?
