I’ll probably be skipping season 6’s premium pass. Anybody know how banked tier skips work? Will it apply to this season? Or can I keep them banked somehow for Season 7?
You can only bank tier skips after you’ve reached level 80 on the current season’s pass. So if you haven’t reached level 80, then you won’t bank them, they will automatically apply to the currently active battlepass.

Gotcha. I have 19 skips banked from Season 6. Since I won’t buy the premium for S7, I’m hoping I can carry over my tier skips fo season 8 (where I’ll likely buy the premium again)
I don’t think it works like that. I’m pretty sure that as soon as you open the game after the season 7 update, the banked tier skips will immediately apply to the season 7 battlepass.

Blizz occasionally runs promotions that grant BP tier skips. Typically small amounts like a single level. But I farmed a bunch of them from Twitch drops and Overwatch League on Youtube
