How do you stop players from spamming invites?

So yesterday, I called someone out for throwing cause they were repeatedly jumping into the pit near spawn.

after the game was over, they were constantly sending me friend requests and group invites, so often i had to log out of the game.

how do i stop them from spamming invites to me?

Don’t accept or decline the request. Then it’ll just sit there.

settings/options, go to social. Look for a setting that says accept group invites from other players. Make it friends only.

Sounds like he had something to say.

if you block them they should no longer be able to send invites. also, make sure to report both for throwing and for spam/harrassment

click block and then ignore the invite request.

SAFETY PSA LECTURE TIME: (The More you know).

Honestly though. If you are starting fights in chat. Don’t. It isn’t worth it in online games. If you are calling people out. It could be seen as bullying. Either your account could get banned or you could make the right person really mad and end up getting DOX’D or swatted. Just not worth the risk.

If it is Competitive. Report and Move on.

If it is Quickplay just leave the match or ignore it. Most of the time when players are throwing. Their previous match set them off and tilted them so much that they don’t care anymore, and they keep getting put into bad matches. So they just GIVE UP.

Chances are, they are already unhinged and you are only make the problem worse. If you called them out and something happens to their account. They’d know exactly whom had done it.

Since you just lost your upper-hand of privacy. You don’t know if this person is some unskilled rando on the internet or an A-TIER computer hacker that could get through the system, find out whom you are and next thing you know the Sheriff’s department is kicking in your DOOR.

The best thing people can do is IGNORE unranked throwers and move on. But most folks don’t want to back down and think they have to prove a point. Which is why ROAD RAGE is such an issue this day in age.

I truck drive. If people have a beef with me. I just move the wheel towards the shoulder, give people a line of sight to pass. Turn my Jacobs brakes on, (engine brakes) and let them pass or merge. It keeps me alive.
