Would you rather say/listen to “We should focus our fire on Winston”, or “WINSTON WINSTON WINSTON WINSTON”?
Both.
When there is no team fight happening - “When their Winston dives us, we should focus fire on him.”
When he dives and it’s time to focus fire - “WINSTON WINSTON WINSTON WINSTON”
Savy?
Flawless reply. Thank you so much, have a wonderful day!
I like the three words method midfight. Say what, where, and why.
Punish Winston behind.
Phara half top-left.
Mercy resing main
Then between fights I try to point out our win condition and how easiest to get it. But people often get mad at me for trying to plan ahead.
Give more information when you have time to, but in a fight when someone is low using as few syllables as possible helps.
I tend to say things like “Moira no fade, Moira no fade!”
“Monkey no jump, money no jump”
“Mei no block, Mei no block”
This gives my team guidance on targets that have no outs. Targets that can and will die if we focus them.
Each other.

What both Physics and Brooster said. If you can make a certain call before the fight, do so. Those you can generally make if you know someone on the enemy keeps doing the same thing (ie: Winston trying to dive, or knowing someone has ult) but in the heat of battle it’s usually best to keep things short, simple, and repeat it.
Unless it should be really clear where someone is though (ie: a Winston right on point during a battle who is easy to see)… well it really sucks if someone calls out “Mercy is low!” or “Mercy Mercy Mercy” but no one knows where the Mercy is. Those cases far better “Mercy back left” or “Mercy near Rein” (the latter can work as tanks are usually much easier to notice in a fight than small petite Mercy)
EDIT: What Soup said too. Certain cool downs are especially good to note when they were just used.
The echo method the pros use. I like it.
