I’m deranking like crazy lately. An endless stream of wanna be sweatlords from Call of Duty going alone into the entire enemy team feeding them ult charge and wasting time all game. Some random n00bs who play moira like a fLaNkEr and almost never heal. Tanks with under 100 hp going forward instead of back for heals.
What in the actual f are you supposed to do? How do you play? How do you herd those 4 sheep together? They are incapable of human speech.
You don’t, it’s hopeless. The only hope to climb out of ranks where the team doesn’t have enough brains to group up and not trickle in is to consistently carry for 2-3 players or get a lucky streak of enemies being worse in that regard than your team.
problem with game is you have to be an aimbot to progress. think sinatraa level aim
so maybe its not you lol, so stop worrying. how to really progress you have to be able to play in bronze v and win to be good (this is not a joke). high elo if you watch them dont do anything different then bronze v except they never miss shots. is it worth it to be mad at the game? prob not. goodluck on summoners rift. teemo out
Honestly I just tell people, if you’re serious about comp, you need to find a good group of friends you can consistently play with.
Your friends will get to learn your play style better than randoms, and will you know, “duck” when you “dodge” lol without you having to ask them.
Also, if friends are messing up, they’re more likely to take corrections without offense and actually shape up to help the team win… where as a rando cops that “you’re not the boss of me!” mentality.
So in lower Elo some supports are carry monsters. Lucio, Brig, Moira and even Bap can all do significant plays and rampage trough rank of peoples that have no idea how to play the game.
That is what I did, and it is going pretty well.
If you really are a good player in low elo, then the chances are that you are better than the other players.
Ping, say hi to other teamates, use your ult wells, pressure and kill squishies (very important if you survive but manage to kill one or two dps or support all by yourself it is alrwady a big W.)
Focus squishy dps, you have overall more substain than them with health regen, especially if they have bad supports, which will happen since you are in low rank.
Focus other supports. Baps, Moira, Lucio and Brig can destroy them. Kiriko and Ana too I guess but they are hard to play.
If you really are that good you should be able to outplay more than half of the peoples in low ranks.
Once you got rid of squishy and healed meanwhile your team, snowball effect incoming.
Start by not blaming your teammates. Watch replays, look at what you personally could do better. Have the mindset that it’s always your fault if you lose, not your teammates fault.
plz read my above post. its for your mental health lol. you might have bad problems in your mental trying to force a meta that is not your fault or your teams fault. its actually the enemies fault. because they are so bad you might actually be practicing to stagnate in your elo. like you have no good enemy to practice against and improve. how do you know its your fault that you are losing elo anyway? just stop worrying guy. overwatch are prob real and laugh at humans on earth especially the monkey (if you know what i mean) teemo out
Yeah… that only works in theory with an organized group.
In reality, you can do everything right and still lose because your tank refuses to play the tank role, or healers refuse to heal, or DPS want to spread out and think they’re all widows or flankers when they’re not.
Sometimes, often times in my experience, doing everything right counts for very little when nobody else wants to do it right either.
there is no way to get good at this game unless you have an aimbot like aim. why do you think blizzard has anticheat and bans it lmao. sinatraa has aimbot level aim thats why he is the best of the best. careful on summoners rift, hope i dont get banned buy using this word lmao
you can’t, some day ago asked to group up 10 times with a ping on lijang tower to go left of that stupid garden none grouped
instead got my soldier dps yelling in voice ‘‘youre a taaaannk engage’’ sure dude… not on bridge when you all idiots keep being pushed off by lucio pharah etc.
If that happen, risk are that if you are at low level when you are good you will raise up a bit.
If your worth is 1.5 players to 2 players, then you need less skills from you teammates on a constant variable, that mean that when you will be paired with competent players you will destroy the other team, which will happen on a more than 50% basis.
If you are stuck at you elo, it mean you are worth one other player of your elo, which mean it is your place.
My SR shot up when I learned Lucio. He is the most impactful support. I make so many impactful plays by literally saying “You guys ready? I’m gonna speed us in. Go.” and amp speed and the fight is won. I’m not a shot-caller. I have bad aim but good game-sense. I was plat for a long time and can hang around 4k SR playing Lucio.
Honestly, when teammates are making terrible decisions, whether I’m healer or tank, I just stand back and watch them die. If my tank wants to consistently rush in and YOLO the fight? Good luck doing it without heals. I won’t heal you. Same with DPS or Battle Moira.
Usually after a few times, then I’ll jump on Voice Chat and ask them “So did that work or do you want to try grouping up now?”. I’d say maybe 75% of the time, they’ll group up afterwards, 10% of the time just quit, and the remainder they just ignore you and keep doing it, at which point we’ve already lost the game so I’ll just leave and find a new lobby.
That’s why you start talking in comms early in the game, figure out how to get your teammates engaged and talking. The ‘social engineering’ of getting teammates to talk in PUGs can be a decent part of the game.
If I have to treat them like a child and guide them through every step on how to actually play the game, I’d just try to become a coach.
It shouldn’t be too much to expect them to be able to learn or use common sense on their own. Honestly, at that point, I don’t even want them on my team anyway.
