How do you like Aatlis so far?

I would’ve never guessed it was Morrocan by the name. I thought it was some kind of Divine Elven Temple. Something by Vishkar. The name sounded weirdly Latin as well.
But I think it’s a nice surprise. More Africa represnetation and stuff.

I like how it has tight corridors, unless there is a Junkrat involved. Long-ranged hitscans finally have a disadvantage and brawl-based comps rule supreme as they should.
Sure, it’s cramped, but I don’t care as long as JQ finally gets her screentime.

But it’s confusing. Seriously, there are many ways to reach the point, all cramped, tight tunnels and hallways, but no way actually leads to where you wanted to go. So you just stick to the few ways you know.
Either way, it’s a map so good, it’s the only flashpoint map I can tolerate, and wish to see more maps like that coming.

I would like to play it. Have they said why it’s not in 6v6 and/or when it will be added?

Don’t know, and don’t know. I think it’s odd to leave the new maps out. No apparent reason to.

I’m already sick of it… doesn’t help that it is in every voting selection since yesterday and I dread playing it because flashpoint is so bad and there is always one troll voting for it.

It’s the prettiest of the flash point maps and the worst of the flash point maps. I will never vote for it lol. I’ve played it at least 5 too many times.

flashpoint = instant pass

however, i will acknowledge the art team did a great job overall, i simply detest the mode itself

Not sure yet, I have only played it once since we all vote for escort map whenever it comes up

Right now I’m not a fan of it, because of what you said there. If I’m gonna play Flashpoint though, I’d rather do it on any other map than this one.

Lots of cover and highground, but I feel that the distance between points is so far.
I like that the dim color of the map. Can’t stand bright maps.

Stop voting for this garbage. Nothing but trash who can’t group together because they get lost chasing someone they can never kill.

Brawl comps get completely stomped by hyper mobile teams on that map btw

As usual

Haven’t had the chance to play it yet (cos people instantly vote against it simply because it’s flashpoint despite it being considerably smaller than other flashpoint maps and flashpoint being changed so it only ever choses adjacent points)

It looks beautiful though art team on point as always.

Makes sense, some of Morocco was part of the Roman empire so it doesn’t surprise me that there would be some Roman influence.

it’s big.

like the jump pads tho.

and the frogs are cute.

good mix of cover & empty.

Honestly, I hate this map for all the reasons you like it. I hate maps with tight corridors. That first point especially is just awful. I will always vote against it. As much as I absolutely despise Clash, I think that I would even vote Clash over this thing.

It’s a flash point map, so no matter how nice it looks or is designed I will hate it. I truly hope there is some geometry bug that crashes the servers and they need to take flash point out of rotation until next season to be fixed.

Funny enough, I don’t hate the other 2 Flashpoint maps nearly as much as this one. This is the worst one by far. It looks pretty, but it plays awful.

I really like it.

It plays well and is a welcome change from endless sightline maps so more heroes feel playable. Some areas are a little too open for my liking but they’re much, much more manageable than in other OW2 maps due to how much cover and meaningful flanks there are.

So far I’ve found it to be one of Junkrats best maps and have yet to lose on it.

I’ve never played it because everyone votes for King’s Row or Rialto.

Blizz just can’t get anything right.

I think it’s condensed enough that spawncamping becomes a viable strategy if you’re getting stomped, which I dislike. Other flashpoint maps are large enough that it’s not really feasible to hold the objective and spawn camp, but Aatlis seems to be slimmed down enough that the winning team can push up to some spawns and still be able to reasonably fall back to the point if they start to lose.
