How do you get June Joust Rewards?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you get the reward/rewards for watching the streams and where do you watch the streams? I have never like watched things for Overwatch, only like once to get the Symmetra contender’s skin so how does it work? Thanks

You either watch it on the official Overwatch app (Connect your account to that of your Overwatch account to get league points and potential skins) or you can watch it live on YouTube. If you’re doing it on YouTube, again, connect your account.

For every one hour you watch, you get 5 league tokens.

From what I’ve heard, if you watch the encore, you still get tokens.

Are you talking about the mercy skin? Cause that’s different from tokens (sorta)

Wyoming has a pinned thread about the rewards and how to earn them.

The OWL Grey/White skins (e.g. Ana) are obtainable in the final weekend of each tournament (When the top two teams from each region go against each other).

I’m so excited

I missed Grey Mercy the one time it was available like 3 years ago… so happy she won the June Joust twitter poll

Not at all a dumb question, OP.

There are 2 ways to earn June Joust rewards, either by watching directly on YouTube or by watching on the Overwatch League website or mobile app. I recommend watching on YouTube, cos while you have to do a little bit of front-end work, once it’s set up, watching directly on YouTube is much more reliable (since Google has servers which can handle a lot more people than Blizzard/OWL can) and less prone to random log outs/crashes.

Here’s how to watch on the Overwatch League website/mobile app:

Step 1: Right before match time, go to the site or download the app.
Step 2: Sign in to your Blizzard account.
Step 3: Watch the broadcast.
Step 4: Every hour you’re signed in and viewing the broadcast (make sure your screen says LIVE), you earn 5 tokens. During the tournament proper, you may earn a bonus reward depending on if Blizzard has added an additional incentive or not.
Step 5: Enjoy your rewards!

Bear in mind, the app and website is prone to crashes/random log-outs, so check every few minutes to ensure you’re still signed in/viewing.

Watching on the YouTube app or on YouTube’s website involves a little more front-end work, but once set up, is massively more reliable. Here’s how to watch on YouTube:

Step 1: Sign in to your YouTube account.
Step 2: Link your YouTube account and your Blizzard account. If you need help setting up the connection, you can always poke our friendly neighborhood forum MVP and Overwatch League superfan WyomingMyst.
Step 3: At match time, simply open the broadcast. It is helpful if you subscribe to Overwatch League’s YouTube account, since if you do, when broadcasts are live, they will appear on the main YouTube page (one of the few benefits of personalized ads/data).
Step 4: Every hour you view the live progress, you’ll earn 5 tokens. You’ll also earn progress towards a bonus reward if Blizzard has set one up. As YouTube is more reliable in keeping your connection secure, you are more than welcome to keep the stream running and do other things like playing other games, online shopping, or even going AFK and do housework. Just be sure that the little diamond below the stream says “CONNECTED” and the stream has a red dot and the word LIVE, and you’re golden.
Step 5: Be mindful that there may be a small delay between getting your tokens/skin and it showing up in your Overwatch account, due to the fact data has to be sent from Google to Blizzard.
Step 6: ENJOY YOUR REWARDS!

Earning rewards via watching on YouTube works on the mobile app or on YouTube’s website. Note, you CANNOT earn rewards by watching the YouTube stream on a smart TV like Roku, Apple TV, etc. (even if you download the YouTube app on your smart TV and sign in to your YouTube account). You must watch on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

And that’s it. If there’s any questions, do not hesitate to poke WyomingMyst and he will gladly help you out.

Well yes, that how do you get that?

Yes!! Finally, our second chance has arrived. I’m so hyped for it.

The skin itself will only be available during the finals weekend though, even though technically all the matches leading up to it are considered June Joust.

Not june yet. Wait until then and they should say when the reward is

mercy skin is a reward for the actual tournamet…watch 4 hours of it and its yours…however that tournament isnt for several weeks from now…they do like 3 weeks of qualifiers and then the tournament (this last week was week 1)

You have some options

  • Overwatch League channel on Youtube (probably the easiest, you just need to link your bnet and youtube accounts)

  • overwatchleague.com, log in with your bnet credentials and watch the embedded Youtube stream when it’s on. Has been…moderately reliable for me, the site is pretty heavy on memory for some reason.

  • OWL app (stupid bloatware, I wouldn’t bother)
