So, other than when I play reaper I have yet to find a way to counter Roadhog. I tried looking up counters and nothing I’ve seen seems to work for me. I understand he can be focused down by the team but I rarely ever end up on a team that understands that or knows to wait and group up instead of trickling out to get picked off one at a time. How do you guys deal with Hog?
Boost halfway through his hook dragging me and my MEKA in, when I hit him I boop him and it stops his shot then I can fusion canon / missiles for a bit then boost away.
Dva, Rein, Sigma, Hanzo, Junkrat, McCree, Mei, Pharah, Reaper, Sombra, Ana

Bubble
And timing. If you Dodge his hook and kill him, 
D.Va, Mei, Ana.
Someone from every role.
Ana nade is basically a death sentence for Hog.

Well, yesterday I straight up beat an ulting roadhog in a 1v1 situation AS Lucio, when I was cornered in the Blizzard World skiball room.
Mei and Ana.
Shields stop him from hooking, matrix and bubbles prevent allies from dying when hooked, anti stops him from healing and makes him easy to kill and sleepdart is hard to miss, stuns and hard cc stops his heal once again, hack disables his abilities so he’s easier to kill, roadhog is very easy target for mei to freeze, roadhog is limited to mostly 20 meter range so anything past that can whittle him down easily, any immunities are good for baiting out hook…

Play something that can interrupt his abilities (at range, preferably) and he turns into a big fat ult battery.
CC heroes interrupt his self-heal and prevent him from landing the halt/hook combo. It’s hilarious to watch them panic when they grossly misposition with the expectation of getting a cheeky hook kill and then escapting using breather, only to have the hook mitigated and breather interrupted.
Hog is a mobile build-an-ult station, what do you mean “how do you counter roadhog”?
Fire at him, get ult, run over other team.

Well this guy also think sigma is more than playable atm, and he states he knows how to using grav flux w/o getting shot everytime. Prob the rank u think it is.

Bait his Chain Hook and hit him with an Anti Nade. He’s free Ultimate charge at that point.
Only if he’s at point blank range
if McCree is 15 meters or more from him he can just click on his head until he dies
And if Hog throws his hook at that range you have plenty of time to react and roll away from it
If professional players, players that don’t care about what’s fun or not and only about what gets you wins, play Sigma multiple times, he’s not only playable, but also viable
Because I posses the insane ability to press RMB before ulting and holding down CTRL while ulting so they just shoot my shield
Very complicated strategy might be too hard for you to understand
Sombra … you can even 1v1 him if you get a good opening on him. Otherwise Mei and Mccree work too.
He can quite easily kill his counters, but typically his counters can be anything that disrupts him from using Take a Breather:
- Hack
- Flashbang
- Freeze
- Shield Bash
- Biotic Grenade
- Sleep Dart
- Reinhardt pin
- Earthshatter
- Accretion
- Blizzard
I’m sure there are more that I’m not thinking of.
Only hero that can independently kill him reliably is Reaper in my experience.
There are plenty of other heroes like Ana, Sombra and Mei that can weaken him and/or set up the kill, however it still requires team focus to bring him down and that’s the problem; when you’re shooting Roadhog, you’re taking a leap of faith that other people on your team are focusing him as well.
Many times they can’t because they’re preoccupied with other issues. In short, focusing Hog is akin to a trust fall. 
If you’re on a coordinated team with voice chat, it’s no problem. But in the wacky world of solo queue without voice, he can be a nightmare.
Once he ults however, your team should be all over him. This is his most vulnerable state.
