Pretty much this. How TF do you counter this ult as a Support except if you have Trans as Zen?
Sleep dart, sheild bash whipshot, lucio speed boost and boop,mercy GA. Moira Fade, Bap Lamp,

CC, positioning, awareness of team etc.
You don’t stop it by force but by intellect, you can’t rely on hitting him with a sleep dart if you’re Ana, instead you need to make sure you’re in a position where he can’t get to you or he can’t get to someone else after he kills you

Bap’s immortality field.
Brig’s stun.
Ana’s sleep.
Lucios’s ult and his boop if you can push him off a cliff or into someone else’s abilities (Ashe aoe, Torb/Hanzo/Hammond ults, Sym’s turrets).
Pointing Moira’s ult right into him and into your teammates who he is targetting.
These are the Supports I play:
Zen - You’re right, Trans or you are pretty much doomed. It’s on you to farm Trans as fast as the Genji farms Blade
Ana - You’re doomed unless you are very good and can consistently sleep the Genji. Other than that, all you can do is nade the ulting Genji to make the job of killing him easier to your allies after you die
Baptiste - I have a particular strategy: stay on low ground to bait the blade, as soon as he blades I go to high ground and drop the Immortality Field on low ground to give time to my allies who are near him. If he tries to come to high ground to get me, I go to low ground again. It isn’t guaranteed you’ll live but at least it buys time
Lúcio; Farm Beat, as soon as he come close speed + amp it up, wall ride and GTFO as fast as you can
I don’t play Mercy, Moira or Brig so I don’t know what they can do

Lucio - Boop, Sound Barrier, Wall run and Speed boost
Baptiste - Lamp and maybe Exo Boots if used correctly
Moira - Fade and Coal
Mercy - GA or Valk
Brig - Shield Bash + Boop or Rally
Ana - Sleep or Nade

well, Ana is my best hero so I guess I can give you an answer from the perspective of a 4300 ana player.
First, try for the sleep. not always possible.
Second, I hit once in the air, then hip fire and cancel the animation with a nade on the floor. It’s often enough damage to let your team kill him.
Even easier if he’s not nano’d. Honestly a free solo kill if the situation presents itself perfectly.
Mercy main here - Press ‘Q’ and zip, zap, zoop around the map until he’s done. But GA horizontally first because I can’t count the number of times I’ve tried to fly upwards and just got cut down.

You can’t, you just have to admit defeat.
These abilities/things aren’t in any particular order:
Ana: Sleep, Distant sniper positioning, if Gengu targets a tank you can nade them and just outheal him 4Head
Baptiste: Lamp, High jump after dash sometimes saves you especially next to a high ground
Brigitte: Shield bash + Whipshot creates enough distance especially if Rally is active
Lucio: Speed boost, Sound barrier
Mercy: Valking out of range, Rez can save a singular pick
Moira: Fade
Zen: Trans, but remember discording before it
Most of them are just soft counters that help yourself, but that’s what most interactions between heroes are
zen: trans, hide’n’pray or kill him. if nanoblade, then either hide’n’pray or kill him and pray your team jumps on him with discord.
mercy: hide’n’pray whether that’s with GA or valk or whatever.
ana: sleep, hide’n’pray, killing him via anti and pray team follows up on that.
lucio: just beat. his boop is risky to counter blade with.
bap: lamp’n’pray that he doesn’t slash lamp along with you or hide’n’pray
moira: fade to hide’n’pray. if normal blade, fade and ult to spam 300hps at whoever genji’s aiming at to prevent deaths that feed his dash reset.
brig: boop him after his dash if you can aim. bash and pray your team follows up on it to kill him.
hide’n’pray = gtfo, hide so you don’t feed the dash reset and pray that no-one else does.
Ana --> Sleep the genji, wait for him to wakeup then do anas combo and call someone else to help you finish him
Lucio–> Beat is actually a really good counter, boop and speed back as genji dashes
Moira–> fade back and coal if you have it on genjis new target because when he dashes you and you fade back, he will focus someone else so best solution is to coalesence that person which damages him and heals teammate
Baptiste–> Since you said dragonblade I am assuming no comboes nanoed. if you are confident with your skills and aim, you can drop the genji easily, if not or its nanoblade use field then call out for your team to help you kill him. a thing I do on bap is field hold crouch and go up a higher ground when genji wastes dash if he chases me i drop and keep repeating which wastes some time before he kills me which is always good for my team
Mercy–> if your team is scattered just GA between each member best I can give you or super jump to confuse him (Not versed with Mercy)
Also two main healers can outheal naked blade btw.
so if you que with someone on support call out to them to heal with you.
If you aren’t the first target of the Genji, you can nano the teammate he’s attacking and pocket them. He won’t be able to get the kill.

Ana has sleep or can Nano someone who gets dashed into. Bap has lamp, jump can also mess up a Genji. Brig has boop and stun. Lucio can wallride, boop, and spped away teammates. Mercy can’t help teammates but can superjump, fly to a distant ally, or Valk to get away. Moira can fade away and Coal teammates on dry blade.
side note:
also keep your eyes out for his AND anas positioning. often times they will both position themselves more aggressively right before they pop the combo.
especially when you are ana yourself, you can try to anti-nade him before he gets nano, so the nano heal wont go through and he has a harder time staying alive.
or if youre zen/bap you can try to harass ana so she cant boost him.
All of those things you mentioned are useless. Good luck hitting sleep dart, and if you do, hope no one wakes him up. Shield bash? when is brigs shield not broken these days? Lucio Speed boost? When he kills the slowest one have fun with that dash chain. Mercy can easily get dashed and hit even in the sky in one shot. Bap immortality? more like false sense of security. Lambs to the slaughter if you run to a bap shield for safety. Its only a matter of microseconds before its down. Even if moira fades the genji dash chain will probably catch you. If you’re smart you can go in a good direction or cut a corner and actually get away but cool, you’re whole team is dead and you’re alive. Well done now you can win the game.
Shield bash him in the forehead and hope your team is good enough to shoot a standing still target. They probably aren’t so you will die anyway.
