I play a lot of Zenyatta, Ana and Moira. Most of the time I’m being fisted by a big guy and I don’t know how to counter him alone. Any help is appreciated.
u dont u tell one of ur dps to go sombra tell them to stay near you and the second that bootleg thanos dives you you hack him kill him and tbag him and insert you dominance
Zen is tough. There’s no real counterplay other than waiting for the Doom to mess his combo up. Ana can sleep Doom when she gets caught in his uppercut and Moira can fade once she’s in the air. Keep those cooldowns for self defense if there’s a capable Doom in the enemy team. Other than that keep track of the abilities he already used and act accordingly.
Frog-Man. His mobility allows him to outpace Doomfist, and stay out of his reach by vertically climbing walls. If your aim is good enough then you can even scare him off.
You really don’t. Brig has a fighting chance, but that is it.
You don’t. He’s the only hero in the game who counters an entire category of heroes. Your best bet is Moira, but Brig can work if he’s stupid.
Ok I’m kind of tired of people saying there is no counterplay to a doomfist.
Moira has fade, that’s pretty simple.
Ana and zen are pretty tough. If the doomfist is bad you can sleep dart him or get enough orbs in to kill him or soften him up.
If he’s good, coordinate with your tanks. Duo que with someone you know is a good Zarya/Dva player. Defense matrix and bubble pretty much completely shut him down.
If he rocket punches you out of nowhere, he should’ve been scouted. Play on high ground and ask your team to actively look for doomfist so he doesn’t ohko you.
Hope this helps.
Doomfist is an easy sleep dart target for me, I’ve gotten good at tracking him with it through deathmatch.
Zen has it the roughest, either land those headshots or you probably lose
Lucio and Brigitte says sup.
Lucio can outrun him and his ultimate shots him down.
As long as the Lucio doesn’t stand still (and a Lucio should never be still) the Doomfist should have a hard time getting a bead on him.
Brigitte can face him and to hand. Her shield is what gives her the edge over jus primary fire, her flail interrupts his combos especially his charge, and the shield bash will essentially stop any sort of escape.
As Ana zen or brig, playing on the high ground gives you more time to react and makes it harder for him to combo you, since slam will do less damage and he might have had to waste uppercut to get to you.
And if you see him coming you can drop down to ruin his combo and leave him out of position.
But yeah if you’re in the low ground, just stay near tanks otherwise ture screwed.
I just swap to Moira/Lucio if the DF is really good. Simply to avoid his rapid movement skills, no need for me to kill him. Problem solved.
If a support can deal with doomfist, are you really a support then?
Define “counter”
Do you mean put him in the dirt?
Or are we talking about heroes that can reliably give him the slip and make his job difficult to do against them?
the moira’s dash is excellent to dodge the rocket punch, without it going healing orb and being accurate to drain with left click should allow you to live until someone come for your help.
Yeah but how do you play frog man
Go to the support class and find the guy with a frog emblem on his shirt…
Yeah but what does it mean to be a frog man? (In all seriousness I really need some tips on playing Lucio with a not so coordinated team)
He counters 2 out of your 3 heros. That’s how this game works switch to bridge or lucio for off heals and have a better time against him
Don’t really agree. I find a lot of success by pre-charging a right click for when he uppercuts me. Allows me to blast him before he finish’s combo. He is real easy to hit when he is locked into the air with me.
But the thing is his head hitbox feels like pharah’s when she is flying. It feels like you’re always 1cm off and by the time you move your mouse to hit him in the head he has already done 300 dmg and killed you. I know it’s a nitpick but sometimes it can get really annoying.
