How do you consistently counter Zarya?

You mean how do you press H to win against her? You don’t, she’s a very well designed hero in that regard. You beat her by getting gud

Use mobile and ranged heroes to take advantage of her limited mobility and beam range, target her teammates, and engage in hit and run attacks. In other words, Zarya struggles if she has a hard time pressing W+M1 in someone’s direction.

Range DPS. Especially BURST dps, Hanzo, Widow etc.

And Rein.

Rein destroys her value by eating up her beam damage with ease.

I honestly think the DPS picks counter her more though.

Or even Ranged DPS supports like Bap etc.

Yeah, she feels more DPS-ish. I considered her the perfect tank for the longest.

Personally, the only times I’ve lost to a Rein while playing Zarya was due to my teammates being significantly worse than his thanks to QP matchmaking shenanigans. In such situations, the Rein just buys time for the teammate diff to present itself in the fight.
