Title says it all so tell me da secret
They move their mouse from the left to the right.
Another popular method is moving their mouse from the right to the left.
I just find it hard to turn around so fast with out a high sense, and with a high sense it becomes hard to aim
Substantial if accurate.
Large mouse pads. Plus muscle memory.
High sensitivity or a really big mouse pad. Either way, you have to be able to do a full 360 in one swipe of the mouse. If you have to lift it each time you turn (i.e. atleast two swipes to double back), then you’re not setup to do it.
No real reason to play Genji with low sensitivity. It will only make your life harder.
Personally, I use 800dpi with 5.5 sens in game, and I climbed from mid gold to mid diamond in the same season. Before I started climbing I changed my sens to be much lower than it used to be, it helped me a lot. Even though my sens is lower, I’m still able to perform 180 ghost dashes without a problem. I suggest a larger mouspad (A Mionix Sargas is a really good one) and aiming with your arm, you never realize how much mouse room you have until you start using all of it. Hope this helped.
a rule of thumb to be good in all shooters is to make sure you do a 360 in the comfortable movement of your mousing hand, with arm movements.
Aiming is done with the wrist and fine adjustment with the fingers, ideally.
I use a fingertip grip and have a very large 360 turn for hitscan, mostly, but even with that, I can play genji because I can reliably turn 180 by moving half the distance of my normal aim.
Not lifting the mouse except to reset to the center of the pad is key.
having a low sim in game and a solid framerate is the other thing. If you’re rubberbanding shots or they don’t register immediately after you click the mouse as a hit, there’s a problem and you need to fix it. Genji’s dash is near instant and you need to have a non-latent game client and connection to get reliable hits, even though he’s projectile.
