Probably my Aim was off … its the same with Junkrat … Just thought it was AoE so didnt think my aim mattered to much
I also cant seem to say in the air as Phara
Depends on how far away you were. The rockets are pretty slow. When people see them coming from afar they can usually move out of the way pretty easily.

most splash dmg from weapons is pretty small. their are some abilities that have really big splash like bastions grenade, doom slam but all in all its prettys easy to avoid splash dmg if you are paying attention and the pharah isnt too close.
It’s smaller than you think and her rockets are really slow. If you’re farther out you can jump to lessen it even more because it’s spherical and the widest point is at impact level (the floor).
You have to get direct hits to deal full damage otherwise the damage is reduced the further out from impact your target is.
