Ok but like, where do I do that on the handheld device? Sorry if I’m just being dumb but everyone I asked all said it’s a plug in on the docking station

The headphone jack on the top should support most mics.

Dont know precisely, I just know my kid does it with his switch and some games.

The Nintendo Switch is compatible with most headsets with a 3.5 mm jack (see point 6 in the picture below). Voice chat is done through the Blizzard BattleNet Voice Comm service.

You can also use the usb c at the bottom of the switch, or a usb port on the dock to connect a mic. Its what i do.
