Not worry about whether there’s a cool way to say it. If they think gaming is not cool, there’s no way it can sound cool. If they do think it’s cool, then it doesn’t matter how you say it.

I wouldnt write “like video games” just write your favorite games you play.
You dont gain anything by this from girls who dont care about video games, but girls which might play themselves could end up being happy if you like to play the same games.

Yeah honestly… if you’re looking for someone who actually cares about your interests or even shares them… I wouldn’t worry about it sounding “cool”. Trying to do so will in fact make it lame.
If they don’t like to game… and worse judge you for liking to game… swipe left? That’s how it works right?

Lotsa unabashed gaymers on Scruff and Grindr. If you’re a gamer and you want to attract other gamers, just say it. If people are turned off by gaming, do you really want to date them anyway?
