How do i see my rank or mmr in the new ow2?

I can’t find anything that indicates that

if you are brand new to the game you must complete ‘placement’ matches in competitive. once you have done the 5 games/role or only just 5 on one role you will be given a rank

ranks are
bronze
silver
gold
platinum
diamond
masters
gm
t500

within each rank outside of t500 there are 5 divisions/tiers 5 being the lowest tier within that rank, and 1 being highest tier within that rank

where can i find my rank score?

T500 isn’t an actual rank, it’s just the top 500 players at that point in the season. Diamonds can be T500, for example.

You’ll see it under the role when you’re trying to queue.

perhaps in OQ - but i dont consider that competitive nor does it matter at all

Nope, RQ too at the beginning of a season.

Regardless, I’m just saying it’s not an actual rank. It’s a subset of GM for most of the time.

and if you read my post properly you would notice i mentioned t500 doesnt have divisions. diamond will quickly be moved out of the t500 page, it looks bugged atm

Diamond is in T500 because pretty much everyone good doesn’t play as consistently anymore. It’s like the beginning of a season, but it’ll last longer because it takes 50 wins now.

I still haven’t figured out where it is. Where is the silver, bronze, gold, what league am I in?

Have you won 5 games in comp yet? Unranked gameplay is what it says: unranked. You should receive a rank after your first 5 wins(Or 15 losses but it’s rare to lose 15 before you win 5).

they removed accurate displayed skill rating and now hide is from you in order to make u want to play the game more in having to complete a 5win/15loss card before updating your rank

this completely backfired and all it did was make smurfing much easier and alting in the high ranks better.

why test ur luck on a rank 20 acc when u can just get on an alt and get back to where u were in 30 games

they realized their terrible system was ruining the lb and decided to bump up the required games to 50 to display in t500. all this ended doing was make actual t500 and gm players not care atleast for the first few weeks abt t500 and have 90% of t500 filled with diamond and masters players who no life the game

I’m honestly surprised, these guys really don’t seem to have a clue what they’re doing. It’s like they’re “out of rank” and out of place

Did they really think that if they make rank not the main indicator, people will start playing more? Why play a competitive game at all

yea new blizzard team doesnt know what theyre doing and are too full of themselves to admit theyve made mistakes and backtrack so theyre just gonna keep adding new terrible ideas/fixes to ranked when the old ranked system was perfect
