Press H, click on the hero with the wings, or the robot with the balls.

Crossfade

  • Bind it to something that feels comfortable for you to switch back and forth to.( Mine is mouse wheel up)

  • Don’t be afraid to alternate between the songs

Boop

  • Use boop to displace enemies. Use it to push enemies towards your team so you can mob them. Also use it to remove non mobile heroes from a high ground( ex: Dorado on attack and enemy Rein shielding his team as they fire from above).

Wall Riding

  • Keep practicing bro, you’ll get the hang of it.

step 1: pick lucio

step 2: have the most fun you’ve ever had playing a video game

Focus on hitting your shots and your positioning WAY over rollouts and wall riding tricks.

Positioning as Lucio is very difficult, as you need to keep yourself alive, contribute to the team’s damage, and keeping your team in LoS. Lucio’s damage isn’t bad by any means provided you know the weapon. Save boops for environmental kills and for peel, especially for your partnered healer.

What rank are you playing at currently?

This accuracy is extremely high for Lucio.

i like to use my boop in my 1 shot boop, 4 shots, melee, boop then due to their predictive movement in the air, is a easy 4 more. is it still a waste? i feel pick advantage can help win the team fight, not trying to be sarcastic

-Use speed to maintain momentum off walls
-Use boop to peel and displace people out of position
-amp it up to get big group heals, or use it on speed to play aggresively on another teams position
-sound barrier works better as a buff to your team in team fights then it does as a defensive ult, so use it as a way to give your team more health and allow them to play aggressive.
-best way to practice wallriding? just keep playing lucio

The unfortunate truth behind Lucio’s current situation.

Well sure. If it helps you kill faster, by all means use the boop if the situation calls for it. But be aware if you need it for peel or whatever else.

If you haven’t changed your key binding on Lucio yet, you should. Personally, my scroll wheel and right click are both for jumping, space bar crossfades, and melee and boop are on mouse 4 and 5.

Too many lucio’s don’t even stay with the team and wander off by themselves wall riding. If any changes are to be made with lucio is it should promote team play. Good team heals and maybe less self heals to prevent him from leaving the team. Or his self heals should only be amplified when he’s with the team and poor self heals when he’s alone.

Luico is one of the few heroes that can be practiced to great effect in quick play. It’s much easier with an intelligent team though, of course, so create a LFG team for QP and in the title insert that you are practicing Lucio. I’d join you no prob.

The easiest way to figure out how to improve on a certain hero is to look up some stats on how the average player performs and reference them with yours. Then start working on improving the things you’re doing the worst on. Maybe you’re dying to much, so you look into why and notice you’re flanking too aggressively, then you address it in your playstyle going forward. Rinse and repeat for other stats.

You can also look up higher level gameplay of the hero, but it’s harder to take in all of that info when there are gaps in game sense and strategy between you and them. Best to work on things one at a time than trying to develop ALL of the habits that good players have all at once.

This might sound strange, but high accuracy ins’t really a good sign. There’s no reason not to be spamming your gun at any angle an enemy may pop out of if you have no targets in front of you. Other than that, pocket the crap out of your other healer and learn to speed boost in your team when you have the advantage.

How the hell do you get 44% accuracy on Lucio? I get 19 on a good day
