I always get confused with sensitivity.
Does high sensitivity mean you move more for less mouse/joystick movement?
I honestly don’t know so I mostly keep my sensitivity at 50.
I have been playing for about a year and just realized this now.

some videos will show up too, watch it, they explain how to use these tools.
also do it after you havent played at all, so its most accurate.
helped me alot, i changed my cree from 19% to 44%…and regularly have games with above 50% accuracy
mine is 800 dpi, 5.83 in game
900 dpi 5.83 for widow
1200-1500 dpi for no aim tanks/supports 5.83 in game
Depends on your space, size of the mouse mat and your grip + aim/wrist.
Not everybody has the same, its not universal. There are a few videos in youtube about it if you use the keywords of your title.
Should also add that hardware plays a role when it comes to aiming.
Had a sh*tty mouse that couldn’t pick up quick 180s and caused me to miss and die often. After switching to an Esports mouse the pain was gone and my aim got much better.
My monitor is still rly meh, but that’s ok rn.
Just saying that only changing sens and dpi settings might not do too much, when hardware holds u back
oh i guess , i use razer basilisk, 1000 hz, 60hz monitor, im poor
It’s ironic that on PC the sensitivity slider in options is way too sensitive and makes it very hard to set the sensitivity you want - it jumps up in almost 1.0 increments sometimes. Would be nice to have an arrow to click on each end to move it in 0.1 increments.
You can type custom sensitivities in there lol
Aim reliant hero’s tend to do well with lower sensitivity, as they can control for tiny movements much better. Think, Widow, Ana, McCree, Ashe.
Then you’ve got your more twitch style hero’s who aren’t as aim dependent, and are better suited for quick movements to look behind them and such. High sensitivity does them better so they can make those 180 camera movements with less effort. This is more like your Genji, Doomfist, D.va, Winston. Even Mercy is better suited for this type of sensitivity.
With that being said, You can play any hero with what ever sensitivity. It really depends on what you’re most comfortable with since Aim is relative.
Key things is:
High Sensitivity = Quick camera movements, Less control.
Low Sensitivity = More Control, Slower camera movements.
Oh about that, I forgot:
You have different sens when you play on 60hz and 125+hz. Its a game changer, but once you find your sens, it will not be super far away depending on your monitor refresh ratio.
who do you play as a hero mercy?
Well according to HR, it requires some training and empathy.
for console i say 100 100 mercy but if its too fast then dont make your aim assist setting default. Only if you can control 100 100 its really viable if not then 65 65 which is my default
-Edit- Poster below informed me you’re on console. Disregard.
Find out what DPI your mouse is at and as Korda says
I’m rocking 800 DPI and 5.73 in game sensitivity, 5.9 on Tracer.
In general I’d say 800 DPI and 5-8 sens should be good for most people. I know some Mercy players go higher but 50 is kinda nuts. I can’t imagine aiming accurately or tracking at 50 sens.
She’s on console though, so idk how 50 translates to PC sens
