How do I adjust my mic sensitivity in Overwatch?

So I got a new headset because my old one broke and in Overwatch the mic is picking up a lot of background noise and ghost noise (my name popping up as if I where talking, but my teammates hearing nothing or just minimal undefinable sound).

I looked everywhere in the sound settings, but the mic sensitivity is nowhere to be found.

How do I fix this issue?

If you use an Nvidia GPU, you can download RTX Voice. It will use AI and Magic to learn what your voice sounds like and filter out anything else.

I am running on AMD.
Is there anything comparable for it?

Also I would actually prefer a simple ingame solution that doesn’t require me to download additional software or messing with settings outside of OW, since I don’t have any issues in any other game or software.

You can try lowering your mic volume in the Windows settings. Or if your mic has a Gain meter on it, you can turn that down to reduce how much stuff it picks up.

Other than that, I can only suggest using Push-to-talk or Toggle Mute in game. Then it at least wouldn’t pop your name up all the time.

That worked.
Unfortunately it seems that now I have to readjust all my other sensitivity settings.

It might be worth adding such a simple feature to the sound options in Overwatch
