Even after the rework i watched samito reacting to yeatle and yeatle was getting anti,slept,hacked,flailed by brigg. It seems like there is nothing you can do to win in this game as a wrecking ball. Yeatle looked so angry because he could not even play the game with all the counters. They really need to fix ball properly or nerf sombra i feel like sombra is way too strong in this game as it is.
And the DPS passive at 20% is going to Alienate all tank players in this game to the point that everyone will play dps the dps passive is really broken. I don’t know why blizzard dosn’t just remove tanks from the game. Honestly DPS are so broken now with 20% tank passive and hitbox buff its really rediculous. Even Flats looked so disheartened when he read the 20% passive out.

People love “conveniently” forgetting the fact that the devs outright said they want the dps passive to have a lesser effect on tanks. Ergo, reverting the nerf for a bit to see how Venture and the hero buffs and nerfs made since the passive nerf work under the full power version makes sense.
Also, “Hog and Maui op, plz nerf” is being howled from the rooftops. shrug
Honestly they need to remove it its totally broken and makes tanking not fun. I think if they don’t remove it the game will die because all the tank players will jump ship and just not play the role.

Ball is miserable to play against if you don’t swap to counters. I don’t feel like being booped and slammed all game by a what, 800-1300 health tank who rarely even has a crit spot. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is the single hero people swap to counter the most.

Have the devs tried actually fixing the Hog and Mauga instead of tip toeing around the problem?
Like seriously, this sh*t where they don’t do things directly has plagued the game for years. If Tracer and Widow (and to a certain extent Hanzo) had just been nerfed in OW1, most of the problems experienced by the game would never have happened.
Even as a tank player I am okay with the debuff.
Your not a true tank player if you think something as broken as this is ok.

Except the way the community wants this game balanced is untenable for the long-term health of the game. Everyone wants this game to cater to their specific needs without considering how it affects others.
The community wants the game balanced not imbalanced and as it is its the worst state the game has ever been in everyone agrees to this comp is a mess now full of landslide games and feeders everyone has had enough of this crap. The 20% passive only helps dps climb more and more up the ladder while tank players struggle and get used as pinyattas.The need to get a real smart balance design team in office and fire these guys who are balancing the game now.
Most like Ball is the broken character here. If you don’t hard counter him, he will run the lobby by himself, and finish with a record like 30-0 or more, and Ball mains think they are entitled to get it in every match.
Also, Yeatle or whatever Ball main that are streaming are playing in T500 lobbies and people there knows how to deal with this character. Those lobbies are sweaty. It’s how it is. Nothing can be done.

Dive would still be effective if Tracer did less damage, and actual Dive heroes would have been played if Widow one shot wasn’t as strong.
And with those 2 nerfed, no Brig, so no GOATs, and no need for double shield when Sigma was introduced, plus no need for Sombra to deal with Widow.
Then we may have even gone double off tank, as you wouldn’t need as much mitigation and killing as tank would be more important, which would mean people might actually want to queue tank.
It starts by accepting that you can’t always get your way, and it’s up to you to either stay and complain or move on.
I played ball today in gold and all they did was run sombra and anna and everytime i pushed in i was hacked then anti its that simple to counter ball and these players are terrible if they can counter ball anyone can thats how broken this game is.
