I play genji. I love him and nano blade is just awesome. But 60% of them are just panic and dead. I still haven’t figured out how to stop it… pretth stupid… i go from like 100 bpm to 1000 bp"s"
Just focus on the goal, kill your targets.
Ok
(20 numbers boiiiiiii)
Oh i feel you, although i dont get Nanod that often with Tracer. Tell Ana when to Nano you, so you can prepare yourself and know when you
re ready.
Nano isn’t great. You shouldn’t be worried about wasting nano. Worry more about your blades not nano.
Use more team chat and call out when ready

mercy can show you the way (at the end)
In a word, confidence. Do what you need to do to be more sure of your ability to execute.
That’s the trick for pretty much any performance based anxiety.
Ok
JEFF REMOVE THIS 20 CHARACTER THING!
I’m not sure it’s possible not to panic when Nano’ed, it seems to also replace my brain with a hampster on a wheel during it’s runtime as part of the effect.
[Maybe play some Tracer as practice on making really quick choices? I feel like getting nanoboosted is about keeping your cool in fast-paced stuff, and Tracer is great for building that.]
Thanks for the advice! I’ll try it out!
Sometimes when I’m fighting with somebody I will track them perfect until they reach 1 HP then I get excited for the kill and miss every shot until they escape. Just gotta learn to stay calm and focus.
Nano a hanzo or Widow, is also a bad choice or you’r the only guy she can do it. When I got one I was thinking " What are you doing? Don’t waste it on me …".
Oh i feel you, haha.
I remember this one time I got nano boosted when I was still learning Tracer, I was like, kinda bad at her - Pretty sure I just happened to blink in front of the Roadhog our Ana was actually trying to boost.
For some inexplicable reason I pulled an amazing POTG out of it and melted their whole team, but it was because I was literally so panicked I forgot that I even could blink and so I just ran at their team and shot them all down before I had a chance to do anything dumb. Entirely accidental.
So sometimes those weird boosts pay off =D
Yeah i’m like the OP when I got one I miss all shots with Hanzo …
Basically, coordinate with your Ana (If your team is coordinated anyway) but otherwise just don’t worry about it. A decent Ana can get her nanoboost pretty quickly, hypothetically she should have it more frequently than you will get Blade!
Focus on staying alive, and focus on finishing your ult. Just use your blade the same you normally would: Focus on disassembling the enemy. no reasonable person is expecting you to fly around ghost-dashing and insta-killing everyone like a Top 500 Genji, so the main thing is to just calm down. So simply… Don’t panic.
Just keep calm and cut 'em down!
When your Ana nanoboosts if you don’t ask for it, tell her to never do it again.
A lot of times you get nano’d and you don’t see it coming. Ana just sees a good time to use her ult and does it. Don’t panic, just go with it.
All us Ana players want to know is that you tried your best to make the most out of the ult. Don’t be that one Mercy player who jumps in front of Ana and then doesn’t switch to her pistol when she gets nano’d. If I get nano’d as Lucio, I know it was an accident, but I try to be aggressive and make the most out of it anyways.
Slash+dash does over 250 damage when nano’d. Let this give you confidence.
