How can I leave platinum?

I feel like its my teamates but maybe its not I’m an Ashe Cass Tracer Doom Genji player with my main being Ashe and Cassidy please advise me on how I can get out of this forsaken rank I play doom rarely if nothing else is working his not something I play consistently its like a last ditch effort pick.

On Ashe i have 52% accuracy - 20% Crit
I average around 35-45 kills per game.
With about 16-22k average
People literally complain about me supposedly hacking in games or having aimlock because of my headshot rate.

This is just average sometimes I do better or worse it feels like I dominate matches and then just dont win.

My accuracy and crit isnt inflated because of tanks because then my elims would be low I specifically shoot at healers or out of position DPS primarily when there is no target I shield bust to find targets.

I think my positioning is good and I play in positions that allow me to make plays.

I will post my last 3 games here.

Choose at random which one you want to watch some are wins some or loses almost all of them have me preforming the best on the team in damage and kills.

Every 1/5 games is a bad game for me in which I dont do well the other 4/5 I do pretty well in my experience.

You look at wrong stats.
Check your solo kills per 10 minutes and kill/death ratio and you will have your answer

Stop worrying about your teammates and focus on your own play. Every time you lose a team fight think about what you could have done better.

That’s half of it. Then the other half is to play better next fight.

There’s nothing more to it than that. If you are consistently one of the best players in a match you will eventually start climbing.

5 deaths per 10
4.5 solo kills per 10

But deaths per 10 and solo kills per 10 isnt a good metric either.

Because if someone tags who youre shooting at even once for 1 damage it will no longer be a solo kill im also not sure when it stops being a solo kill if theyre healed to after taking damage to someone else is it now a solo kill again?

Whereas dying it doesnt matter who you die to when you die what health youre on nothing its just dying.

According to overbuff my solo kills and deaths are really good both within top 20%

I know it’s cliche to say but if you really do improve and play well you will climb. I know plat sucks but if you really are playing as wel as you say you are you’ll get out

Play like I have recently, I expect you will be in gold in no time.

The first thing you need to do is stop blaming your team. It doesn’t matter if they’re playing as if they don’t even have monitors. Stop blaming them and focus on improving. You’ll only climb once you accept that you’re playing just as badly as they are.

Your Doom mechanics need serious work and you often seem unsure of where to go and who to target. In round 1 you didn’t achieve much and fed a lot. Based on this you’re nowhere near being diamond on Doom. Your Ashe is much better, though.

Based on this game your aim on Ashe doesn’t look as good as I’d expect to see in diamond. You’re not consistent enough. If you want to reach and stay in diamond you’ll need to put some aim specific practice in.

I don’t really agree with this. Your positioning is ok but that’s all. You don’t really ever take off angles and don’t really push forward when your team has the advantage. It’s just ok and what you’d expect to see in plat.

You tend to hold your ult for too long.

My takeaway from that match was that you do your job well for your rank but you aren’t a playmaker. If you’re under ranked and looking to climb you need to consistently be the playmaker and turn fights around. Otherwise how do you expect to win more than any other plat dps? Right now it doesn’t look like you’re a playmaker.

As a general piece of advice you need to look for 1 thing every lost team fight that you could have done better. Then summarise the entire match once it’s finished. Then work to improve the issues that are consistently coming up with your play.

Yeah I agree with that his my least played character in my main heros list I just picked him up recently I have 3hrs on him so far.

I picked up ashe recently but im a valorant player so thats not too hard for me to pickup quickly I also played alot of Cass before that.

For sure I just use him because people dont know how to deal with him in my rank kind of like pharah and bastion.

I agree with this too I dont want to use it if were going to lose the fight regardless but I dont want to use it if we are winning.

About consistency it might just be that replay code I think im pretty consistent for my rank maybe not though?
My absolute peak aim is killer I can hit back to back flicks from the corners of my screen.

Sometimes I do fumble the bag for sure and miss alot of shots back to back generally though I feel like I hit about 50-70 of my shots in a teamfight and then my accuracy drops off abit for spam shots across really long angles where im just building ult charge.

Dont play comp currently. The massive loss because of players make it impossible to have balanced matches or to rate you correctly. Stop. You will destroy your MMR otherwise when OW2 comes out.

That makes sense tbh.

Based on that replay you have plat aim. If you want to climb you need to already be performing at a diamond level.

Consistency is key. Doing well some matches but not others is a hallmark of metal ranks.

Take it from someone who’s reached diamond on 2 different accounts. If you’re good enough you’ll easily climb through Plat. But once you hit 2700sr that’s when it mostly starts becoming rng with what teammates you get, because that’s when teammates really starts to mattwr. 2700 and above is just luck, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t. Just don’t give up and you’ll reach diamond

You can’t get out. You’re stuck here forever and ever.

weird I have climbed at least 4 accounts to diamond not paying attention and another 4 to masters, never experienced whatever you’re talking about. When you get good you don’t even care what your teammates are doing

You have to play DPS to have this mindset.

I don’t have time (or energy) to watch the code today but when you feel like it’s your teammates, sometimes it is, but the personal takeaway is usually a lack of proactive play making (super common feeling on tank/support too). Things like not off angling, mistimed or ultimately not very useful plays, unimpactful ults, picks on unimpactful characters, not holding strong power positions and winning fights off of them etc, not forcing the enemy into unfavorable positions (pincer). Keep an eye out for things like that. Now more than ever competitive is about solo value and playmaking if you aren’t grouped so if you expect to climb into diamond you really need to be comfortable with that stuff.

Watch your vods and look for missed opportunities. Look for poor positioning or spacing, look for kills you’re missing, lower your deaths etc. If you’re not sure what to look for, watch vods of really good coaches doing reviews for players on the same heroes, learn what to look for.

I’m watching the first game now, and you’re playing Doomfist.

You dive Mercy, but she escapes.

Then you dive Ana, but she sleeps you.

The defenders were distracted, so you survive. That was lucky.

Then you attack Ana for a second time, but she counters you again with assistance from Tracer.

First impression: You’re tunnel-visioning on the player you want to eliminate. You’re just hunting players. That doesn’t show great awareness of the situation.

Another note: D.va enabled the first capture. She killed Zarya, and then went for the point. All defenders were looking in the wrong direction, and the point was taken without resistance.
