How can I climb out of gold?

I have been in gold for the last three seasons and just CANNOT get out. Any tips for climbing in ranked?

Get a good static team. Playing with randos will just land you in the same elo.

Excel in fields revolving around game sense, positioning, aiming, etc.

I’d advocate queueing with stacks as they serve the purpose of having well arranged and conducted player roles. Not to forget to mention a vital factor, which would be communication and coordination.

Practice and detect your time to mastering and performing outstandingly or fairly decent with whoever you main. I’d advocate having enough capacity to play more than one hero to accommodate in different situations. There is nothing explicitly barring you from doing so.

Have a good diet, sleeping schedule, mindest, mentality, etc.

Regarding in-game settings, take my advice and set your average sensitivity on all heroes within the roaster. Building muscle memory is quite a substantial factor to look out for.

I try to climb out as well, but every time I think I’m out, they pull me back in!

Constantly be thinking of what Ults the other team has and how you can stop or shut them down. For D. Va, specifically, use your DM almost the same way you would use Genji’s Deflect. Pop it up to stop a key ability or use it to save a teammate at a clutch moment. It’s not a Rein shield, don’t hold it up for too long. Queuing with a friend is also a great idea, preferably someone who is better at a different role than you. For example, I duo-queue with a DPS/Tank player and I play Support/Tank. Positioning and Ult management is what keeps people at low ELO. Watch guides and listen to pro players and how they suggest to play whatever hero you want to climb with. Constantly think about what could happen in the next fight and how you can help you team win that fight.

ult to win. in gold a good zarya ult can carry games and get team kills and make it not a landslide.

genji gets at least 2 kills per blade, rein gets a good shatter. tracer doesnt waste bomb.

stuff like this will get you out of gold and you can even climb to master with good ults
