I had my old OW account connected to Youtube easily for years, but I started a fresh OW account for OW2 and I have no idea if my Youtube account is connected to it or not.
I’m not getting any drops. When I click the button to connect underneath the OWL stream, there is no indication which Battlenet account is connecting. It just says the connection happened. I don’t know if it’s connecting to an old account or my new one that I actually use.
My Youtube account uses the same email as my current OW account. When I check my account details on the Blizzard site, I see that the same Google account is connected to my current OW account.
Does that mean my accounts are truly connected?
Is there some other place I can check?
I know that drops can take a while, but I haven’t gotten any since OW2 launched, despite several attempts. It definitely seems like something is not connecting correctly.
You can check in the Youtube settings > Connected app.
Alternatively, Account details on Battle.net > Connections.

It says connected to Battlenet. It doesn’t say which Battlenet account, though.
It says it’s connected to the correct Google account.
As far as I can tell, it should all be connected. But I haven’t gotten any drops since OW2 launched. I’ve gotten Twitch drops just fine, but nothing from Youtube.
Before OW2 did you ever receive any tokens from YouTube? Also possible you have the wrong email/Battle.net connected. I’m not sure if drops are working today but some of yesterdays drop came through.
The only place that lists the actual account is my Blizzard settings, which lists the correct Google account.
Youtube doesn’t list the specific Battlenet account in my settings or when I connect under the OWL stream. It just says connected to Battlenet.
Not on this account. I used a different Youtube account and a different Battlenet account in OW1, which worked as expected. I started fresh accounts for OW2.
Make sure you are clicking the connect button below the video when watching.
Why bother replying if you aren’t going to read the post first?

I mean with Battle.net you can check which google (yt) account currently linking with that account, so you can log in to your new one and see it no? Or if you want to be sure just create a new google account and connect it to your new Battle account…
Yes, and as I’ve said already, it shows the correct Google account connected to my battle.net account. But I’m not getting any drops, and haven’t since I created this account at the start of OW2. Which leads me to believe that something isn’t connected properly.
That’s essentially what I did already. I created a new Youtube account and a new battle.net account and connected them, just like I had done previously on my old accounts.
About the drops, plenty of folks here, myself included has issue with tokens not granted and hopefully it’s a bug on Blizzard end. About skins/sprays/etc, pretty sure it will be added on Nov 15th as stated on official OWL page.
