Hijinks is up. Right click the card to see what it is and it has some generic info about custom games. How lazy can they be not to provide information from the card about what the mode is about?
This team is just sad at this point.

As per the usual, they just copy and paste ‘enjoy this fun new game mode!’ or whatever the crap is that they have in every game mode that explains nothing.

The game mode description literally tells you to jump in and play the game to find new strategies based on the different modifiers. The game tells you what the current modifiers are. It is incredibly self explanatory.

another forced mode that probably takes away current 6v6, the new one probably has no tank restrictions…
Its so damn hard to get excited these days when its most likely something negative.

dude, i mean, they couldnt even implement weapon inspect, and was in the overwatch 2 trailers, and well you know the whole sequel. it seems there will be no summer skins this summer, the chance to relase a juno lifeguard skin will be wasted? this is the level of laziness they are handling right now

why the information from the game has to be outside the game? 10 years and they cant even implemet a proper in game tutorial of how the modes work

Why are you surprised? We used to have patch notes in the game on the main menu, but then they had to shove shop and battle pass in there, so one of those took the spot and they’ve never bothered to put the patch notes back.

Ok, normally I don’t play these things but I want that title NGL
I miss the old OW1 seasonal events. Where you could get cool skins, and play fun game modes. Now all OW2 offers is “hey look, we have more overpriced re-color skins in the shop, and you can earn these cheesy sprays and voice lines!”
Are you serious? A tiny fraction of OW players read these forums I would bet. These forums should not be the source for what a mode in the game does.
You can right-click on a card to get information about the mode IN THE GAME. Why would people come here when the info should be there? They could even just put a clickable link to the blog post in the game, or copy the blog post text into the card info.
It’s pure laziness and very unprofessional. I wouldn’t hire anyone responsible for this type of thing as it shows a really poor attitude to work quality.

One of Overwatch’s major problems is that there is still too much information OUTSIDE of the game.
Everything should be in 1 place - THE GAME.
It even annoys me that cinematics aren’t available in game (apart from a few) and have a dedicated area.
I think it should be in the game, too, but I more firmly believe that those who attack others deserve to be attacked themselves. If you can’t make a point without saying silly, ignorant things like calling the devs lazy, you shouldn’t try to make it.
