The twitch drops include the Jester sombra skin, which was said to be exclusive to overwatch 1 players.

I’m curious what does the word “exclusive” even mean to them? The same thing happened with the Watchpoint pack skins, space ranger soldier and Cassidy.
In a Reddit AMA in summer of 2022, someone asked for clarification of what the watchpoint pack includes and then an OW dev said “you get 2 awesome exclusive legendary skins” and then less than a year later they brought them back for everyone. They were just throwing around the word exclusive to get more people to buy it and then silently making them available again.

“Exclusive to the watchpoint pack” means “the watchpoint pack is the ONLY WAY to get it,” and the watchpoint pack was limited time. This is straight up false advertising and devs lying.

Am I missing something?

I think it is the 2nd time they are giving away that skin outside of the OW1 rewards.

It said in the page that the items may be available via other methods. Yes its the fine print but unlike with certain other skins they were clear that they reserve the right to give them away in other ways.
