If we had a mode where you could only queue flex then all of the people who aren’t stubbornly sticking to one role could play well balanced games with good queue times.
It would be like open queue times with role queue match quality.
The people who insist on only playing one role can play open queue.

Although I don’t know what percentage of people would be happy to flex. I personally would love this mode as I like playing all roles.
Count me out. I need a role lock as a tank to guarantee my spot. I don’t care about the rest of the two roles.
i was top 500 open que and now i dont even play Open que to how they ruined that mode.

Yep, I hate queueing for all roles because I do not want to play the pansy roles. Forcing me to go and play open queue when you need tank players in role queue would be a relatively dumb decision.
I fully support obligatory flex queue. It’ll help DPS players understand teamwork better, it’ll drastically improve queue times, and it would allow for a return of 6v6, which would make playing tank a lot more fun
You are not a main tank. I am a main tank and i don’t want to play dps or heals.
i want to guarantee my spot. That is what will make me que for 6v6 or you all will end with dps vs dps.
go at it - see if you can ever bring back even 1% of 6v6 nostalgia.

It wouldn’t be very fun for me to have to go support or DPS. I enjoy the idea of tanking as I continue to learn I guess.
I am, though. Granted I flex queue because variety is the spice of life and I enjoy short queue times, but my most played characters are tanks. Zarya is my favorite
Maybe it could exist alongside role queue.
Then the people who want to play a specific role can wait in queue for it, everyone else can enjoy quick times and good games.

I think Tank queue OR Flex would be best. That way, Tanks have the priority since we are the minority 
Or maybe a Two-role Flex role plus Tank Only such as DPS or Healing, DPS or Tank.
Another option would be for them to just fix the current flex role.
Queuing flex really just means queuing tank. I would happily queue flex if I got a variety of roles, even if it was tank more often than the other roles.
As it is I never queue flex, there is no point. I just queue different roles each time.
I’d really like to try having a preferred role but with also having to pick a secondary backup. Or alternatively, open queue but with role preferences for matchmaking and probably role limits.
