Honestly, Not counterswitching should have penalties
Only in Comp tho, im playing to win, i can’t handle having a Widowmaker who refuses to switch against Winston, Genji and tracer.
A few Days ago, i had a Dva against Sym, Mei and Moira, Of course i told her to switch. He responded with: “I am diamond 3 bro, i’ll know when to swap” (was plat 5-plat 3 lobby btw) and just proceeded to play Dva till last point where me and my Duo said “Bro you gotta switch, you are getting hardcountered” And he was like “To what??”. The sad thing is, that it is not rare to see such kind of interaction between my teammates and Me. I’ve started Reporting such people since i consider that its throwing (not if they are a onetrick or actually perform decent/mid). This whole Scenario happened in Competitive on Shambali.
Tell me, do you think this is considered throwing?

They should just rework the game to be fun, and stop with the counterwatch nonsense no one wants

I mean, they Have said it, yeah, but as of rn the game is just unplayable if the tank is getting hardcountered, they prob said before the game was a unbalanced hardcounter hell
You’re relying on your team for help winning. Thats your first mistake.
You’re asking them to help is your second mistake. I wouldnt bother. Treat your teammates like bots, you’ll be better off for it.
Reporting seems really harsh. Were they actually throwing in their gameplay? Refusing to swap isnt throwing, its their choice. Just avoid them if you must.

Stats do not tell the whole story. If they get 0 healing from their supports then a tank going 1-7 is hardly surprising.
Context is needed imo.
Both supports tried pocketing the dva, it was just not working out

I see that happen so often its hilarious. Ragging on their tank for not doing well meanwhile theyre afk from the fight thats happening.
Always makes me laugh and feel bad for everyone involved more or less

I think counterswapping is necessary, but unfortunately not reportable. Lack of awareness can seem like throwing, or purposeful feeding, but it’s just an inexperience thing.
Personally if I’m at a negative KD I swap (other than when I play Mercy and go 0-20-1).
I defs type and go “afk from the fight” because there IS no fight if my team mates attack 1v5

Well, theyre knowingly playing a hero into a terrible situation, getting 0 value and being an active hinderance to your team, in my eyes (and im sure many others) its gameplay sabotage and negatively impacting your enjoyment of the game… It’s gameplay Sabotage
