Torb has a lot of untapped potential. He’s gonna be killin it with hog being good. His ult is underrated. He has a turret he can throw, get the kill and destroy to put on a 5 second cooldown whenever he likes that’ll charge ult super fast. His super saiyan mode is good, and barriers won’t be that good anymore. He has no damage fall off.
I play sombra, so this sucks for me. I thought this a couple weeks ago. I’m worried my friends. Kinda seems like he’s just straight up better than mccree, which doesn’t feel like it’s saying much considering his nerf but I might be wrong and some pros are going to show how roll is the most broken ability in the game somehow.

I’ve been seeing it a lot. I’m scared of it. His Ult is actually really effective, and you can definitely win and do crazy things with your turret. Once people realize how much his ult being bad had to do with barriers, his ult can do a lot.
“Perhaps next time you should not stand in the way of the Torb.”
I really hope not because with the limelight comes the nerfbat, but hey, I had a good run on Torb. He’s felt good ever since the Overload buff back in December.
Torb isn’t tall enough to be meta

Torb is good, but not against snipers.
His turret can be out ranged and his big head ain’t doing him no favors
Still good on defense, but not so much on attack imo

With the damage nerfs, we might get Rein, Sigma, Mei, Torb, Ana, Lucio.
The only acceptable name to call a future Torb meta is the Meatball meta.

Even people in GM don’t always focus the turret lol, makes Torb’s job quite a bit easier when there is just constant damage.

I think I wish the turret had more creative ways to play with it and used that firing at what you shoot function more creatively. Honestly, funny to me how much people hate him though. Like I play sombra, and at least in my mind, he’s basically as hard of a counter as it gets in this game in my eyes, and I’m not as annoyed with him as others seem to be.
Note: I’m probably wrong on that being the hardest counter. Like, I’m sure I could play around the turret if I get better about it and I’m sure I’m probably making a lot of preventable mistakes, as I am a qp only player who probably is mid gold in skill level.
I bet along side him will be Sombra. Ashe will probably be nerfed a lot by then.
I doubt it honestly. I think sym has a better chance then sombra does. In owl maybe? but mostly for the same reason sombra is always better in owl then on ladder. scouting, emp, and/or probably switching after.
Fair, I am just assuming they will nerf pinpoint heroes and the new meta will be spread.
