Dev’s are to inept to comprehend something like this. Game will always be a burning pile as long as this team is running it

Why would they get rid of 90% of their playerbase that doesn’t make sense

And make a list of shame for every banned scriptkiddie, especially streamers and top 500.

Realistically, Blizzard tries very hard to ban hackers. But its an arms race. And there’s always that balance of “How do we ban hackers without false positives or making our anti-cheat too intrusive?” In another game, my brother’s headphone sound balancing software was triggering anti-cheat. So like… there’s that.

Obviously we all want the bad actors gone. But it’s not THAT simple.

To the average cheater on the forums, I’m sure they would disagree the percentage is THAT high. But let’s be real. Any game you play now has at least one or a few or a stack of them. It’s getting to a crazy point now. This game is filled to the brim with soft and hard cheaters. Absolutely no competitive integrity.

I think the crazy part about this is, if it were true you’d think people would point it out more often. In the last month I had one genji with really sus aim and one sojourn that seemed to be aim locking and someone called them out for it

Don’t get me wrong I’m sure many cheaters fly under the radar and don’t get noticed but if they’re in every match after like 2-300 matches surely more people would point it out no?

Even the people sharing replay codes here that I’ve seen most of the time it’s looked normal even as far as trigger bots go. They just look like a normal diamond/masters+ DPS or maybe they’re all cheaters idk

The funny thing about streamers caught cheating is that they’ll make up any excuse as to why they have CheatEngine or something similar on their desktop. Having it installed at all should be punished with a permanent ban, because you have to go out of your way (and wallet) to install a cheat software.

bigger streamers have premium cheat engines that are leaked with source codes from ow2 IT devs that are being sold for year without consequences.

Permabanning all content creators is one way to alienate a playerbase

They…do get banned

Wait… Cheat engine? Like the memory modification software cheat engine? I have it installed, am I a hacker?

You’d have no players left.

It’s not just a memory modification, since it’s been changed to store cheats like ESP and aimbot. So having it on your PC is already suspicious. People used to only use it for single player games, but those days have long ended.

Til. Still think perma ban is a bit silly for that though

can i please have what you are currently smoking?

No amount of banning is going to make the problem go away, even if they had a motive to do it.

At this point the only solution is to give everyone the same abilities a cheater has.

The game is a miserable wreck now because of the level of cheating. It’s literally every match somebody sneakily burning people down to 90% and no killing blow so they don’t get spotted on the kill cams.

Abysmal.

Streamers are aimbotting. It is known fact. But sheeps will defend them with their lives.

game became a cheaterwatch2. team with more cheaters wins.
