Mei and brig just got big buffs. Widow was nerfed. Genji is a suboptimal hero without nanoblade

Maybe stop letting him farm your team? Nano blade is one thing. But if his base kit is getting away with so much it sounds like a team coordination issue

This is obviously not total proof, but in my personal experiences, every time I see a Genji he does little until he gets blade. Maybe I get the bad ones in my games lol
The fact that genji got close enough to your team to right click spam and was not killed on sight just goes to show how trash you guys were as a team and as players.
I cant tell you how many times I have been shutdown instantly by someone who was able to do the simple task of looking at me and shooting at me. I know its so hard to do that. but trust me when I say this, look at the genji and shoot him like the bug he is.
His base kit is so trash at doing whats it supposed to do which is get in close and kill someone.
If you let him do that, its not genji being op, its your inaptitude of looking at the genji and killing him

if you completely are aware of how bad you are, CALL HIM OUT and let someone else deal with him.
That’s probably because that’s the best way to play him if you want to get any considerable value. If you don’t like this play style, I suggest a power shift
thats not even his best playstyle rn. I think the op is playing in a low rank or QP where you can do whatever you want. heck in gold people are capable of disposing of a genji that gets in close to rightclick spam.

I wish what the op stated was his best playstyle tbqh with you. Atleast then its more engaging than “Oh let me poke and wait for you to be at 60 hp so I can get in kill you and say bye bye. hehe”

Well, sure, but spamming M2 is more reliable than his primary since it is able to cover a wider area and doesn’t require as much aim so it is more consistent.
I just took the spamming of M2 to equal he was farming and doing poke damage since he never used dash in his description of how Genji plays
Yes if the genji can get close without seeing one of the 6 ccs the enemy has.
In my response to the op, i told him it wasnt the genji as character being OP that lead to that, but the OPs team and himself just being bad.
I have seen people in gold who are able to telegraph genjis, kill genjis that come close enough to M2 spam.
The fact that op (who is a mei main btw) couldnt deal with the genji or even bother calling for the team just goes to show a whole lot tbh
