it doesn’t happen in every game, it seems a bit random, I’m always at a steady stream of 60fps and 20-30 ping, normally I play the game as usual, sometimes it occurs randomly, holding forward moves but then just stops moving, I press the key but my character is stuck, you can see it moving forward slightly but being stuck in the position, when I release the W key to move forward it pulls back where I was stuck, the only way to get unstuck is to press a different direction then I can move forward again
if anyone could clarify this issue with me it’d really help
I had a similar problem a few weeks ago, happened a few times over a day or two, but haven’t had it occur since. In my case I have forward bound to the RMB.
at least I know it’s happening to other people shrugs really discerning though
It could simply be keyboard ghosting, where pressing down multiple buttons at once negates the input of certain buttons.
Except when I’m not pressing any other buttons when it happens, pressing W will show my character slightly move forward slightly but not continuously move but still be stuck at the position, upon releasing reverting back to the stuck spot, by slightly moving I mean not even a step, you see the HUD gently move as if you’re about to go forward but don’t, when being stuck this is just pressing W by itself, so the initial stuck issue I’m not even sure why that’s happening

I have the same problem as OP. Sometimes when I’m pressing up (W) it will move back like I’m pressing S.
It’s very weird. Almost feels like I’m being pulled back by a rubber band?
I have tried multiple keyboards and it has the same problem.
