So Chu says Jesse is 17 years old when he joined Blackwatch. Mercy is 17 too and in this pic she is visiting Overwatch from Uni. So, if Jesse is 17 when he joined OW, how old was he when he and Ashe formed the Deadlock gang? He couldn’t be younger? Also, he must not have stood there long in the gang then since at 17, he was taken into Blackwatch. So Ashe met Jesse and made the gang when he was younger than 17 or exactly at 17 years old but how is that enough time for him to be a Deadlock member?

Not to mention if he was in Blackwatch at 17 and if Blackwatch was made 26 years ago and Jesse is 37 and wasn’t captured until way later which would be 20 plus years ago, then he was only 25 when the Venice incident happened and when Blackwatch fell right? But he is 37 years old? 37-8 29 years old at most so how is there a a 4 year gap?
Am I confused here?

If I had to guess, he couldn’t have been younger than 15, 17 is already a stretch since our knowledge of the deadlock gang went from “McCree joined this dangerous gang when he was young, poor guy” to “McCree formed a gang with a teenage girl, yay crime?” Which doesn’t really make sense at all given how McCree saw Overwatch as a way to redeem himself and a group of teenagers robbing places isn’t that dark of a thing… but that’s beside the point.

He was 29 during the Venice incident (37-8 years), but Blackwatch didn’t technically “fall” until the swiss explosion, they were just under suspension, and McCree left right before the whole Swiss headquarters thing because he didn’t want to be a part of it, by that time he was in his thirties.
~age 15 (~22 years ago): Jesse McCree, Elizabeth Ashe and 2 others found the Deadlock Gang (exact age unknown; historically several high profile gangs have been founded by teenagers, so this isn’t much of a stretch).
age 17 (20 years ago): McCree is busted by Overwatch and given the choice of joining Blackwatch or life in prison.
age 29 (8 years ago): McCree, Reyes, Genji and Moira go after Antonio Bartalotti in what is later known as the Venice Incident.
age 30 (7 years ago): McCree goes to London under Reyes’s orders to investigate the situation during the King’s Row Uprising.
age 31 (6 years ago): After Ana goes MIA after being engaged by an enemy sniper, Reyes personally assigns McCree to go looking for her. He is unsuccessful. Also around this time, McCree leaves Overwatch due to infighting.
Some time after this, McCree loses his left forearm and has it replaced with a robotic prosthesis.
age 37 (present day): McCree thwarts a Talon raid on Hypertrain in the American south. He also travels to Deadlock Gorge, Arizona to rescue Echo in an encounter with his old gang. Most recently, McCree has been seen in Calaveras, a bar in the Castillo district of Dorado (possibly hunting the Junkers for their bounty).

Don’t trust wikis. Gamepedia is quite OK, but don’t go on other wikis, they are full of confused theories and doubious facts. They’ll do you more harm than good!
We now have proof that Overwatch is just bad at showing age, it’s not just Mercy that looks “too young”.
Some 17-y-o boys genuinely look way older at that age. It’s as if they morph from a child into an adult overnight. I’ve known one personally.
Overwatch’s in-game and cinematic art style has always been softer and rounder (some might say Pixar-ish), which leads to characters looking younger than they should. At the very least, they do look the appropriate age in their illustrated art.

But the thing mcree did look young in the picture of him and ashe but the new deadlock skin shows him looking way older
I think if they cleaned his face a bit and made him skinnier, he’d look a lot more like the picture.
