Have you tried the experimental card? Apparently it should allow him to keep the consistency of his hook combo on 80% of the roster without 2 shotting tanks. If you want other tanks to be good…that sounds like a perfect middleground
He isn’t/wasn’t OP. All other tanks are horrible and thus he is a tank who finds value with less barriers and has the self sustain to survive the 1-shot sniper heros who dominate the meta without barriers to prevent their value.
I had some semblance of hope that they were finally going the right direction with his buffs, only to make me realize that they clearly have no clue what they’re doing in this expiermental
I was calling for Hog nerf’s like crazy but I kind of agree this was not the right nerf. I would have preferred they nerf the cooldown on take a breather. 8 sec is too low and it is just hard to really get through all that HP when he’s also getting most of the support from his own healers. Keep the damage, less healing. Supports used to kind of leave Hog on his own before but now he is like a main tank so he’s getting all the resources put into him from the supports and has his own 300 hp heal.
