There’s no way Blizzard would have finished the rework, let alone a big one like this, already. If they actually made this rework it wouldn’t be released until like 6 months from now lmao. Like the one guy said, they always wait until the very end to write the path notes. Also the junk storm ability icon looks like a badly edited version of Ramattra’s E ability icon.
I think blizz COULD pull this off, because how centered he around his one shot is and that, without a complete rework, he would be unusable.
But given that the leak is a full rework (like Orisas one), I dont think its legit, because they said “Soft rework” and the shown thing is a complete rework.
But would be really cool to make him more “boar like”. ^^
Sounds fun but I’m not buying this one. It’s taken them months to do Brig’s new ult because it requires new art and VFX. Too hard to believe the Hog soft rework turned into a hard rework that’s already nearly complete.
Having said that, OW leaks do have a solid track record overall. People pointed out plenty of reasons why the Junker Queen kit leak had to be fake, yet here we are.

This leak is 100% false. He’s suppose to be getting a soft rework to remove his one shot combo. This is an entire kit rework, they’d have to spend weeks making new vfx and sfx for these alleged abilities. It just doesn’t seem realistic especially seeing how long the brig ult rework has been taking. Plus the abilities just seem extremely far fetched.
others sound like they could maaaaybe be there, if they were doing a full rework. but the ultimate is quite a stretch lol.
they would be “interesting” changes though, so props for that.

They are too lazy to do all of this. It is definitely fake; however, as usual, random internet denizens are better at game design than the professionals. I would not be mad at all if this was to be his new identity.
“We want all tanks to be more like hog for OW2” and “Lets rework hog” is perfect combination from this dev team we got so far.

You say it to someone with bad memory actually XD And dont prase me that much, i am wrong a lot of times in here like any other biased user, it just happends this was target agains my main hero and his playstyle so i remembered it well. (rein being more like hog was never up to my taste)

it kinda looks like the patch notes on the website, but its really hard to say for sure.
id obviously not trust it, but lets say they announce that this week or next week the hog changes were coming, id say this would have more validity purely because this info would only reach people that could leak it if it were closer to release.
but they rarely have things like this leaked by non pro players. so id say 100% fake
Because someone probably F12’d it. I think I’ve seen every Patch Note since 2016 and not one of them is like this. Even the new OW2 Patch Notes aren’t like this.
They do sometimes talk about the changes in the Patch Notes but 100% not like this.
i did already say, that i thought its 100% fake.
but people also said the leaked nerfs with sombra/genji were fake too so i try to not to pretend its impossible even if i just said its 100% fake.

My exact thoughts hah. The other abilities I could believe since replacing CC with simple damage abilities is a trend now. But then he started talking about ult and it got wild
