Hog one shot was taken away for a reason

When they took it away he got a lot of compensation buffs to buff his overall survivability but SOMEHOW it was decided to allow him to one shot half the roster of heroes AGAIN while keeping ALL of the previous buffs??? Logic???

EDIT: he got 1 ammo taken away from him so clearly all is well my bad

Hog wasn’t given the ability to one shot half the cast. It’s actually over 66% So closer to 2 thirds of the cast.

Hog has always has been able to perform one shot combos on 200HP characters.

There are more methods for dealing with Roadhog’s hook than there used to be, and due to the possibility of effective double barrier comps it’s much easier to mitigate his damage than before.

    Mark the word, reliably. He could do it before.

    I think they wanted to put respect on Hog’s spacing with hook as a tank (despite the idea being DPS-y).

    And what’s the point?
    If he flanked you and your alone and away from the entire team and didn’t see him coming he outplayed you.
    For most people he needs to land a hook to actually be able to one shot them.
    Flanking is part of the game learn to look behind you and cover your flanks.
    He is not overpowered by anyway and I have zero game time on hog so I could care less what happens to him.
    People are just not used to him being meta and need to learn how to play around him and it’s super easy.

    I find it funny how everyone was complaining about Sigma 1 shot combo ( which is way harder to pull off because his rock is on a 12 second CD) but every turned a blind eye to Roadhog doing it before Sigma was even added.
