Who’s bright idea was it to put a fat ultimate battery in the game, who has no damage mitigation ability for his team, no movement ability whatsoever, no armour, and terrible damage?
His only saving grace was that he had high enough burst damage to OHK squishies with his hook CONSISTENTLY. If he can’t even do that, what use is a Hog?
We don’t want an extra 50 health, we do not care for take a breather buffs, we literally just want to be useful by actually being good at fulfilling our role. And Roadhog’s role is to punish players with his hook, and being able to OHK squishies with his hook-combo.
Is that so much to ask for when literally every other tank has way more movement, way more utility, damage mitigation for their team, and more consistent damage?
Fix Roadhog in 6v6 role queue for God’s sake. This was an absolute let down.
This version of 6v6 hog’s damage number is more or the less the same as ow1, you can oneshot a squishy with hook combo but not as consistent as it should be, you really need go for headshot due to s9 hp pool.
It’s a bit awkward compare to ow1 hog and current reworked hog. OW1 hook combo is very much a guaranteed oneshot due to squishy have less hp. Current reworked hog has pigpen to guarantee oneshot, while the hook also have a shorter cd.
If they really want to test 6v6, they should revert the numbers back to ow1, both damage number and hp number, then balance all ow2 heroes accordingly.
Not being able to stand within 20 meters of a hog sounds like a very easy way to make space instead of 5v5 hog that presses w, shift, m1 and then waddles away with take a breather.
I am positively shocked I tell you! The terribly designed tank that was terribly designed in 6v6 and is terribly designed in 5v5 is still still terribly designed in 6v6!
