Hog E is now even better than sp

seriously, look at real stat in your match, hog always compete with your sp with his self heal.
I dont know why you call his E trash, it literally heal too much now, 500 heal every 10 sec compared to previous 350 heal every 8sec. A big big buff
And yes, Ana is needed to shutdown this meat, else he will never die with its insane heal that even queen does not have and self reduction dmg

I have no clue what “sp” is, fam. His Take a Breather was technically nerfed at first, but after the buffs, it is probably a net positive. You are not considering that suckling his gas cannister is downtime. Albeit, they sort of, kind of buffed his primary and Pig Pen helps mitigate that.

He is not going to magically be meta, but he will be more annoying and easy to play. Same as the Sombra rework you loved. :skull:

I’m guessing “support” and their complaint is that he heals comparable to supports.

Which…does not happen. I’ve played with a lot of Hog players. They are doing maaaaaaaaybe 5% of what the supports in the lobby are healing.

idk in what world if your support heal for 10k and your hog heal for 500 hp mate.
Maybe just uninstall the game if he really heal 5% of those number

Usually in comp games on support I get around 15k healing. Hog is not doing only 500. And mostly because there’s an Ana and he usually has to use it for the defense boost.

Ana’s not balanced, that’s why.

Tanks are being balanced around Ana’s anti-nade, so that when you don’t have it, you struggle even harder. Then if you do, it’s more “balanced” which is arbitrary because that typically means, “Ana make them useless or they run rampant”.

I’m not saying the Hog rework is great or anything. He isn’t healing more than supports, though. Even without Ana (which is, you know, rare to get a game without her :melting_face: ). But she’s in practically every match. If there is a Hog, they’re going to anti him the moment he tries to use Breather. Without her there, he’s really, really strong. With her there, he’s not great at all.

I saw a hog with 12K heals the other night, so it definitely can happen.

Yeah, hogs feeding is absolutely a thing. (yeah he may not have been feeding, but I’ll make an assumption based on the games I’ve seen when someone is racking up those numbers).

That is like 6 ults from that hog alone.

I feel like I am the only player I know who reads healing numbers in “number of ult’s given to the other team”

This is the problem with the scoreboard. Roadhog’s healing isn’t “healing”. It’s how he tanks.

The regen on Reinhardt’s shield doesn’t count as healing. Zarya’s bubbles don’t count as healing. Damage absorbed by Defense Matrix or Re-Mech doesn’t count as healing. I’m mostly sure JQ’s overhealth doesn’t count, but I don’t actually know.

Roadhog doesn’t have a way to block damage other than healing. If Reinhardt’s shield-regen counted as healing, he’d have high healing numbers as well.

I second this. I’ve had over 10k heals in a match playing the new Hog. If they don’t have an Ana, and you don’t int, you play cautiously and heal every chip damage you take… You get high heals.

If they do have an Ana but you play safe enough anyway, you can still have 10k heals.

With old Hog, I would save my breather for when I’m actually in danger of dying. Now with the resource, you don’t have to do that as much. You can save half your breather to be safe, and wait for it to fully refuel before you go all in. But I use it waaaay more often than before.

Which means way more healing.

I’d say more like half, he’s averaged 5.6k in season 7.

Having healed some Roadhogs, yeah, he’s not doing anything that most Supports could already do or even go way past that. I do find it slightly troubling that Illari is having a rough time actually keeping up with Roadhog’s healing though. Zenyatta seems to keep up, just fine, though.

As Junker Queen, I’ve healed as much as 6k in a 10 minute game. Passing my Moira and Lucio by about 2k healing.

Random run with Roadhog on Shamballa, I healed close to 6k, pretty close to my Supports, but they still got a few hundred higher.

Sorta. He tanks by mitigating damage via the Fortify Effect from TAB. The additional healing he gets from this is recovering from that damage. But healing IS mitigation in Overwatch, so it is partially true.
