Just played a game and between double pockets (Lucio and LW) and “Take A Breather” Roadhog couldn’t be killed. It’s not going to be fun when Hog gets a rework because I can tell you right now, he will be OP.

as long as ana exists, hog can easily be killed.

Maybe that was the problem then. We did not have an Ana. We had a Mercy and a LW.

Lucio can’t heal pocket anybody. Unless you meant he sped the Hog around the map. Lucio can speed pocket.

hog is legit unplayable when ana is around (on enemy team). but on ur team, she makes hog even more unkillable. and i think the rework is a good idea cuz hog has been a pretty trash tank according to many sources 
. he still needs some buffs to like his range,
Mercy and lifeweaver together means more pressure for dps and tank to pump out more dps than usual since those supports are passive in nature

He is hard to kill… except when there’s Ana. She hard counters him so hard its insane.

Considering he’s a tank, I’d expect hog to be hard to kill

That was the problem. Hog is useless when the other team has an Ana but very good when they do not. Mauga will be the same way.
The problem with hog wasn’t his hook combo, it was his survivability (cleansing abilities and big healing supports) in combination with that combo making him too hard to punish.
In short; Hog’s sustain should have been nerfed (and the supports, at the time) not his combo.
reaper and bastion are both easy to play and chew roadhog up, just saying.

hes suppose to get a rework but i know what you mean though with his breather and if a support is near him hes almost unkillable i can remember the hells going against them as a dps and a tank

Ana exists? Hog dies quite easily.
Ana is not there? Hog is very, very good. Add in 2 healers, and…oof. That is going to be a tough fight.
And thus why most of the Trash players now use him because if you ain’t got skill use a broken character to pretend you do obv.
Sorry but Hog with no Ana to stop him is actually a good pick. It is one of those well kept secrets that people do not realize in OW, like how in S2 Mei snuck under the radar as a low key amazing pick for most of that season. However, in this case you are very unlikely to see it because anytime you try to pick a tank, you expect at least 3 counterpicks within 30 seconds so you might as well play something that cannot be hard countered.
