Roadhog is pretty decent right now, but he has some inconsistency with his hook combo. When you hook someone out of the air, half of the time the enemy survives the shot because of the weird angle. I’m suggesting a small damage buff alongside with some other changes to make Roadhog feel better to play.

Hog does not need a buff in all honesty tank damage buffs need to be nerds instead and and they need to make tanks tanks that what killed the role the tank damage buffs in favor of them living
Its a simple tragedy that a one-trick kit like Hog’s which takes less skill than Zarya has him picked more at the top right now. They over-nerfed the skill tank and put the ez kit in play.
What were the nerfs that caused Zarya to fall? I’ve been playing only about a year but I always assumed she grew less popular mainly due to tank comps like double shield and Ball Dva becoming popular.
Also I agree it’s sad. Seeing so many high rank players play Hog so much is kinda killing the enjoyment for me.
She had her damage levels on beam nerfed and the charge decay rate increased… dumpstered her almost immediately. I am convinced they did it knowingly to observe more independent tank play with Hog, Rein, Sigma, Ball, etc. She is the “off-tank” that most heavily promotes and benefits from tank cohesion, de-emphasizing her prior to the rework in OW 2 makes it easier I think in their eyes.
I feel like is fine as he is now , although his damage should be 160 , he shouldn’t oneshot people if they are getting healed ,but other than that he is fine . “He should get immunity to sleep” tho
