right now watching masters games and its actually commonish for the moment, its a lot of fun to watch because of the coordination needed however if i was watching gold(my rank) hog ball torture my guess wouldnt be as fun

tbh it might actually be possible to do it

ball piledrives the backline, hog hooks n cooks em since 1 shotting is more consistent now

It’s really fun to be the ball or the hog in this combination too. You’re constantly trolling or throwing people into pits.

Hog being unable to semi-consistently ohko before, made this a very difficult combination to pull off, but now it feels strong with the weaker barriers. It’s actually really fun to play. You would have to wing them with a right click, then land the hook, which was easier said than done when they’re looking at you.

It’s fun against a similar comp, but not so fun against an uncontested widowmaker. Well, for your back line anyway.

i agree it really depends what the rest of the team is, if your widow is better than their widow then you are good and ball should be able to dive widow, i just like how the 2 least team based tanks can form a weird team and it actually can work :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh for sure! I pull it off in high plat/diamond games all the time! It’s a really fun brawl comp that is so versatile, especially on koth maps. Ball can be the main engage tank. If the enemy has pharmercy, both Hog and Ball can help with hook combo/rez denial. I’d say the best DPS/healer lineup for this is Junk/Torb/Mei/Doomfist/Sombra, and Bap/Brig.

I really don’t like when my team goes these 2 tanks, they provide no sustain for their teammates. Roadhog is just a 3rd dps and 90% of Ball players never do anything.

You know what isn’t really fun tho?
Widow/Ashe bullying your team cuz sustain is dead and barriers too.

It’s ridiculous, hitscan need some major towning down now.

And Pharah needs a complete rework instead of being that useless but annoying flying pest she is.

Its the most fun comp to play along with ball/winston, but there will always be some pepega getting caught out of position and be like CaN wE HaVe SoMe ShIeLd

Just picked up sombra to counter them and im having a blast, I never knew how fun it is to play sombra. I had never played her before until 2 weeks ago

i agree, hitscan makes so many non hitscan characters pointless
