His Name is Cole Cassidy

Yes, he used to be called Jesse McCree. I still prefer that Name actually, but his Name has been changed now.

Don’t ask “Who’s McCree?” if someone calls him that and don’t ask “Who’s Cassidy?” if someone calls him that.

Lets put this controversy behind us for good.

Call him what you want, but don’t question other people about it.

The simple solution is just call him McRoll

Both seem just immature.

I call out Cree because its what I did for 5 years.
If someone calls in TC that Cass is one I don’t lose my mind.

Wanted calls him Mcassidy. Thats an option too.

I call him Cassidy for New Players, McCree by accident if I forget and various Slurs if he Kills me with his Magnetic Crutch.

But that’s not my Point, just don’t bring attention to what people call him.

McCrutch or Cactus Bootbuckle also work.

You realise that the new players have no idea what you are talking about and have a right to ask who McCree is?

Maybe if you think before posting. But then you wouldn’t be artificially inflating your post count if you did that. Oh no.

I think McCree as a name is better. Anything with a “y” on the end in my mind is for girl names.

Nah, his name is McCree. I’m not easily offended so I will always call him McCree.

I use both. But I will stick to what grew on me at the time. Its also a reminder of what happened rather thrn shoving aside the victims of such atrocities.

So I find Mccree the more honorable usage. Where Cassidy is just some toxic positivity to cover up a dark past.

McCree sound better and I can say it faster so tough luck I guess :woman_shrugging:

Lets forego the names entirely and give him a slur name. “Cheap Headshots.”

I call him McC*** when I’m feeling ‘adventuous’.

Bingo. It’s difficult to teach an old dog new tricks especially when it makes no discernible difference in gameplay.

Plus I’m pretty sure players understand both names. I’ve never been asked who I’m talking about when I say “McCree” nor have I ever asked (or heard anyone asking) who “Cass” is.

McCasserole is the only acceptable name. No substitute. (At least on the forums).

Although in game if I do talk and make call outs I usually call him Cowboy.

Are you sure about that?

Papa Jeffery, Anthony (Tony), Jeremy, Timothy, Cory, Terry, Zachary, Cody, Jerry, Ozzy, Billy, Kenny, Kolby, Toby, Benny, Teddy, Ziggy, Chevy, Presley, Freddy, Larry, Tommy, Percy, Clay, Henry, Brody, Remy, Roy, Danny, Quincey, Kingsley, Trey, Westley, Bobby, Gary, Harvey, Gregory, and Troy, to name a few.

Jesse also has a Y sound at the end.

That all said I call him McAss, cause it’s both names together with a bonus commentary on how I feel about him in the game.
